Location is very good being just in beach front. Staff are very accommodating and approachable; their services are very fast and satisfying. Choices for the breakfast should be extended to Filipino food and not just "mostly" korean food. Really good value for money and security of your stuff.

Hotel ideally located beachside on Station 3. That is the only good thing going for this hotel. After getting dropped off by Southwest Tours on the street behind the hotel, we had to lug our baggage through unpaved back streets through market stalls ourselves. They sent 1 porter who was able to carry 2 out of the 6 luggage we... More

We were forced to check into this hotel as the plumbing in our regular hotel had broken done. When the other hotel heard we were not happy with the Golden Phoenix and wanted to be transferred to another hotel, but the owner of the Golden Phoenix would not allow this,as he wanted to keep our money for himself. The hotel rates itself... We stayed 3 nights and every night there was no hot water! We call for towels and must wait at least 1 hour or they simply don't send it. Food is poor quality and low-class tourist likes to fight for the food. I would never recommend this place for vacation stay!

Plus: - cheap luxury (big rooms, w/sea view and great terrace for at few bucks ekstra) - okay service (except airport transfer - explanation below) - the pool is good - pretty hotel - neighbour to the best breakfast café in Boracay! - nice but hard beds Minus: - a bit dirty here and there - bad food! - slim... We stayed in the suite. So the room was big and clean. However, the hotel is placed in station 3 which I don't recommend anyone to stay at. If you are going to boracay. Stay at station 1 or 2. Otherwise the breakfast on the hotel wasn't so nice. It was more or less chaos, and everything was finished. The... More

Pros: - very friendly staff at the front desk - member of the staff brought our luggages out to the main road in the pouring rain and hailed a tricycle for us - it was fairly cheap (you get what you pay for) Cons: - the pool area did not get any sunlight as it is situated between the two... More

We are a party of 8 stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It was a very long and tiring journey traveling to Boracay Island. Transportation is not reachable to the hotel door step but it took 5 mins walked to the hotel with the helps of the driver. When we arrived at the hotel, it was a after 12... More

I have stayed in Golden Phoenix Hotel for 3 Days 2 nights during December. It was a short honeymoon for my husband and me. This hotel is located at Station 3 but it was very convenient. We have pay a bit to stay in Angol Suite. Even though there are some defects along the way but overall we did enjoyed our... More

Boracay doesn't have many mid-range options, so this is a decent choice. Trikes and cars cannot access the hotel directly, so be prepared to walk down the beach, or through the market with your luggage. It caters heavily to Korean and Filipino tourists, as reflected in the breakfast buffet, which includes dishes like congee and pancit. The hotel is a... More
