after a lot of research on where we wanted to stay for our first time in boracay my boyfriend and I decided on erus, and we were glad we did... here is our experience in a nutshell: pros: breakfast is included and was great with 4 choices...filipino style, pancakes, american style and some weird hotdog/egg combo...we actually liked the local... I stayed here over the xmas newyear period. I was disappointed with erus when I turned up. it looked nothing like the photos the pool was dirty so we couldn't even use it. the location of the hotel makes all the noise from the road & traffic next to the hotel come into your room. if you after some relaxation... The design of this place is unique. thought out and creative. The rooms, no 3 rooms alike, only 2. clever. However, some design or rather the decor, may need revision. Food is en par with pricing. Location leaves some wishes, but then again, in line with pricing. So overall a 7 of 10, considering the "budget"-concept...actually a 9 of 10...well... More

stayed 4 nights here for the first boracay trip, overall it was ok: 1.the location is at S3 which is bit far from most happenings, you pretty much need to take tricycle for D-mall and activities; 2.the hotel staffs are quite friendly and there is security guard onsite; 3.the hotel is only few years old but the room looks tired... There is nothing about Erus that screams "luxury", but everything about the place was good for the price. The room was nice -- the best was very comfortable, the aircon worked well and the shower was nice. Best of all, the room was spotlessly clean. The cleaning staff came in early every morning (while we were at the beach) and... More

The price is cheap. The really good ones by the beach would cost you almost P20,000 a night. Why spend so much on a hotel when you can use the money for food? The place was clean. The air con was cold. Breakfast was good and filling considering it was free with the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. I... More

Hotel was walkable to the beach (5 mins walk) and room was very clean. Loved the color scheme of the blue room! Stayed during the Christmas period, and room price was reasonable, but the room size was a tad too tiny for my liking.

Stayed here with my husband, 2 brothers-in-law, and a friend for 4 nights. I wouldn't recommend staying here but I must say, THE STAFF WERE ALL GREAT! :) The downside: - they totally forgot to pick us up at the airport when we have arranged airport pick-up weeks before our arrival. And we didn't get any apology for it. -... More

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting when i arrived here on Boracay ... I thought for $60 you'd get something really fancy... Erus is far from awful ... But fancy it's not. Checking out other reviews here, I see a similar story over and over... GUYS! Don't you take on board the feedback? I wonder if this island... More

The room is very beautiful as well as the buildings. Water pressure is very good. But the sleeping quality is harmed by the busy main road outside. There is no particular reason for staying is this area. It is far away from the nightlife spots. And if you need quiet and tranquility there are better options.
