We booked last Dec. and arrived at the hotel late in the afternoon. Staff welcomed us with a warm smile and greetings. When we saw the LOFT we booked, it's a nice room and can accomodate 6 people. They have utensils you can use and whenever you call for service or inquiry - staff will come to you immediately. Their... More

we have had a great vacation in Alta Vista with my family. Staffs and crew are friendly, and polite. Clean room, towels, etc.. Maybe a bit improvement for breakfast though i love asian food but somehow my body is get used on healthy diet like having yogurt and a real fresh juice in the morning. The last thing that they... We rented an apartment within this complex. From the start we were made very welcome, the staff couldn't do more for us and it never felt that they were doing it because they had to, but because they wanted to. The complex is situated up in the hills over looking the island and the view from the infinity pool is... More

Obviously a quick look at the rating I’ve given will tell you that this isn’t going to be a favorable review, however I want to break each element down and give my reasons so you can decide if this hotel is for you. On arrival the first thing that strikes you is the impressive entrance foyer which is spacious and... More

Sometimes when you get something cheap over the internet it does not actually mean that you have got yourself a bargain - it just means that it is cheap. If you can afford more than this place, do yourself a favour and pay it. If you can not afford something more, do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. Location. Whilst... More

This is not a hotel: its an out of town dormitory with a shuttle service. Its staffed with student labour . Its bad for Borocay. Front office inefficient, food outlet poor and room not clean. There appears to be no hands-on management

Dear Michael, Thank your for commenting regarding your stay in our hotel. The students-trainee you saw in the hotel are from different school who are having their on the job training which usually happens during the month of November till February. In fact, the whole Boracay is filled with students-trainee. Your comments on front office and food outlets are a... More

This experience was so bad that I requested to check out the hotel the first morning. I was told because I booked via an agent I could not get my money back, I had booked via the hotel website but clearly it is run by an agency called direct hotels. I was actually happy to move out and lose the... More

Dear Abitash, Thank you for bringing up your concerns. It is true that children from 12 years old below are free of charge in the room but their breakfast is charged half of the price for children aged 6 to 12 years old. It is unfortunate that during the holiday season, the hotel is fully booked and our coffee shop... More

Alta Vista is located in a hillside of the northern tip of Boracay and is very far from the Whitebeach. However ever, they compensate the distance by providing free hourly shuttle services to the 'D Mall. But it operates only from 8AM to 12MN. Hence, if you are a party brat, you'll definitely not gonna gonna like it - taking... More

We stayed at Alta Vista de Boracay on 25-27 Dec 2013. We were a big group of 20 pax and booked 3 lofts. The lofts that we were assigned to were quite far for the main building ( this is were the reception, restaurant and swimming pool were situated) but we noticed foreigners were assigned to the lofts nearest to... Folks - I had travelled to Boracay in Dec'12 to spend my honeymoon and spent 6 nights here. After considerable research, nailed down on Alta Vista for two reasons - 1. Very luxurious and exclusive, away from hustle bustle of the town 2. Proximity from party places -Station 1. This property suited me so well. They have a free shuttle... More
