Its wonderful place because of their beachfront location. They have friendly and very accomodating staff.Me and my wife didnt enjoy our buffet dinner, their mongolian buffet can give you kidney issues.

We stayed for 3days and 2nights with their family sized rooms since our flight schedule was re-booked due to Typhoon Haiyan a.k.a Yolanda so we have to make an on the spot hotel haunt or we'll sleep in the beach. Okay the room itself if very unpleasant to stay at day since the air conditioning unit itself is very small,... More

I stayed at Villa De Oro with a friend in Feb 22-25. The place is quite old but not properly kept, we stayed for 4 days the towels are stained & nobody even came to sweep the floor (not sure if they do this) by day two we are close to having a sandbox in our room. Day 1 breakfast... More

The hotel is really disgusting. The rooms are dirty, the toilet has no hot water, the beds are wooden made and very dirty. The hotel is a ruin. On my arrival one of the two towels was dirty with suspicious brown spots, the post in the toilet reads: No potable water. So it is expected to buy a water bottle... More

I stayed in Villa De Oro for 3 nights and my only comment is that they need to have an "UPGRADE" with their rooms, amenities, food, and services. In the morning they have a terrible service and food in the restaurant, the waiters are not polite. My room is beautiful from the outside and terrible inside (too many dirt in... More

We went to Villa de Oro to eat breakfast, our order took so long (40 minutes) that i had to follow up 3 times. When our food arrived my partner spoke in relief sarcastically saying "Finally! food is here" then the waiter answered back by saying "Hindi naman kasi to fastfood eh" then walked away. We were calling him to... More

Hi, I was there for 4 nights during New Year's. If there is nothing else available this place would be just sufficient. In any case, I would recommend spending just a little bit more and upgrading to a different resort. Good: - Nice location on the beach. Close to main areas but not that busy/noisy - Affordable - If you... More
