2 stars because it was clean. But labor is cheap in the Philippines so, your hotel better be clean. Let's begin. We made our reservations on their website, which should be fine like any other hotel, right? Wrong. When we arrived on the island. We thought, "Wow! Our van is right there, already!" Our feet on the sand and we... more

This hotel was part of a package that included airfares, breakfast and transfers. It was good value for money. Staff were very helpful and there were a lot of them. They seem to be swarming around and are very friendly. Although, after reading the reviews here in TripAdvisor, I have a feeling one of the receptionist might have lied to... more

The tides is good option for those who dont mind not staying right on the beach. It has a great roof top pool and bar and is close to all the restaurants and bars in D Mall and on the beach. If you are early to bed it could also be a little noisy. The exceptional rooms are really large,... more

I stayed at The Tides Boracay for night in May 2009. The hotel is interesting. ie, theres a sign on the bathroom wall that says something like "Save Water, Shower Together". Overall it was a decent stay. The rooms are nice, not very big but comfortable. Theres no wifi access in the rooms and the wifi in the lobby was... more

I stayed in this hotel over the Christmas holidays in 2007. It was probably one of the nicest places I've ever been to. The location was perfect & just a few minutes from the famous White Sand Beach. I loved the pool on the roof top. The workers were all full of smiles and extremely helpful. I couldn't get my... more

Availed of the 3D/2N package during lean season (~USD185/pax) that offered the Essential Room, inclusive of the roundtrip airfare via SeaAir. Because of 'horror stories' from friends who stayed there earlier, I decided to keep my expectations low. Good thing, because I was delighted from the moment I checked in! The room was cozy, although they could improve further on... more

I have just come back from staying at the Tides. Like others who have commented on the hotel I was disappointed to find that it was not on the beach. Instead, the hotel is located within a busy shopping mall area with lots of shops and places to eat near by. The decor is ultra modern and I found the... more

Nice small hotel, recently modernly decorated. The rooms are nice with a cool bathroom. The patio is a great place to have drinks next to the swimming pool with some loundge electro music (Ibiza style). It's in the heart of Boracay, sadly not right at the beach, but the rooftop really compensate fot it ;) more

We moved to Tides a couple of days into our Boracay holiday and were offerd a fantastic rate. The hotel is trendy, modern and uncluttered: it offers much better accomodation than many of its rivals on the beach. Although set within the D Mall area and therefore not directly on the beach, you can watch the sunset from its beautiful... more

We stayed at the Tides from 16 to 22 november. The tides was not our first choice but November is peak season and in the end we settled for the tides at station 2. And we were thoroughly disappointed, especially given the price we paid which was a few times more expensive than most of the other places on station... more
