I have to completely one-hundred percent disagree with the negative comments about Grider Hill Dock. My family and I stayed there, and rented the largest houseboat they have, and I have to say it was a vacation we we will always cherish together. The staff (all) were extremely helpful and courteous, especially the boys who helped us load and unload our boats. They are all younger, but not one of them made any reference to our beer/alcohol being a good tip. They were respectful to us, and made us feel so welcome. They even went out of their way to make us more comfortable and helped us over the few days we were there with no complaints. It is a beautiful lake to vacation on, and such a good family atmosphere. Our five year old had the time of his life! The rooms were in beautiful shape, very clean. I would give GHD ten out of ten stars! more
