Not as good a resort as I was expecting given the advertisements. Following the advice of others on Trip Advisor I requested and stayed in room #1 but the room is extremely small and the bed was so hard that I had bruised hips after my 4 night stay. The beach out front was filthy and really a shame as... More

Resort is misleading. It is a no frills about 11 or 12 room "hotel". Rooms are adequate in size, so is the bathroom. Be sure to bring your toiletries. The hotel provides bath soap and hand wash. No other bathroom amenities. Towels are old. Covers of the twin beds don't match. But, there is a safe and a ref in... More

reserved via booking.com and got the cheapest available. requested for an early checkin around 10:30am and was accomodated, requested for a nice view, got the best one- room #1 has the direct beachfront view but with obstructions though. requested for a twin since we were not a couple and they said ok but the bedding given to us was a... I always stay at Hayahay and dive with Genesis Divers. It's the best deal on the beach. Quality of service is unmatched on Alona beach. The staff of the resort and Dive shop are far superior to the other expat run resorts. Yes I'm biased! However I have been coming to the Philippines for 25 years and sure I don't... More

I was partial to more grandiose hotels and didn't know what to expect when I booked. Simply based on reviews here, I made the decision to book at this resort. It turned out fine. The room was, indeed, spotless and spacious. Obviously tailored for Caucasians with bigger build, it's still felt OK - elevated toilet bowls, mirrors mounted high, etc.... More

This place could soooo easily be fantastic...... 1. Location is fantastic...on the seafront.....be aware though that taxi cannot get to the hotel itself. Will require short walk along sandy beach front. However, and I have to agree with other reviewers..... 1. The bed was simply the hardest thing I've ever slept on !!! 2. Wifi not great 3. Loud music... More

The room is over priced, not worth more than 30 US$. all night party under the hotel which does not let you sleep until morning. Bed mattress is very thin and poor quality, wakeup with back pain. Very poor value for money.

Located in the middle of alona beach you are right at the middle of everything. Thats good if you want to get around easily but terrible if your trying to sleep since the live bands on the restaurants down stairs play at an extremely high volume. Room are small and only one faces the beach. The beds are rock hard... More

I stayed in Hayahay Resort for a couple of nights with my dad. The rooms are nicely made. Nothing too fancy but has everything you need. The room we stayed in had a good size. The bathroom was also in a good condition. It had hot! and cold water. The staff was friendly and helpfull in all our requests. The... More
