Yes, the rooms are clean, spacious, but nothing extraordinary. The food - especially the complimentary breakfast is not a gourmet feast but you will be satisfied. But what makes this hotel unique? a. Majority of the staff are hearing impaired which makes for unique experience just trying - and failing - to communicate to them. b. The fish spa tickles.... More

Love, love, love the ambience more than anything else. The place is cozy and value for money is great! We availed the family cottage over the holy week and we were not disappointed. The place is clean and well maintained. Front desk/ admin needs more training in responding to clients' needs. I find it amusing that the staff, given their... More

Except for the check-in clerks and driver, hotel is staffed by deaf people. I understand that it is a project of IDEA, Inc. a non-profit that runs schools and training programs for deaf people in Bohol and neighboring islands. It was fun trying to communicate in sign language. The lobby is tastefully furnished and decorated. The food was just OK.... More

Have visited this hotel numerous times during past 5 years. However, last trip Feb 2015 left a not so sweet taste . Poor Administration and lower standard very obvious. Although confirmed booking a month prior , no booking found on arrival. Staff attitude in finding the 2 rooms booked was poor.Failure to collect us at ferry, even though we emailed the day... More

The Dao Diamond is called a Bed and Breakfast by TripAdvisor but it's really a hotel with a dining room. Its location is excellent if you want to do some shopping or tour Bohol but be aware that it is not near a beach. As other reviewers have pointed out it is run by the International Deaf Education Association of... More

For around 33 dollars a night, you can stay at this hotel and get free breakfast. At least that's the deal we got. The bed was too soft, but surprisingly we slept good all week. It was great waking up every morning to the sound of birds. Also, the location wasn't too far from any of the main points. The... More

I chose the hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor. The staff handled the reservation well. When I arrived at the hotel, I had no travel plans for the day. When I asked the front desk if they could plan a arrange for a day trip, they had a Panglao Trip arranged in under one hour! The hotel was very... More

This was our last hotel on our island hoping trip around southern Philippines. Bohol is a beautiful island. The people there are friendly and helpful. The hotel staff was very helpful in our stay. Room was very nice, showers with hot water. The food is good but could use a few more American style dishes, but what I did eat was... More

I went to Bohol to do the Milo Marathon Tagbilaran eliminations. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to the starting line. The hotel staff handling the reservation was really efficient. It was great that transfer to and from the airport is free. It was good to know that only the front desk staff and drivers are hearing and... More
