I was making a return visit to Bohol and I came across the reviews on this Hotel, this got me curious. I made a reservation for 4 nights. Included in the cost was 'Free' transfer to and from the port or airport.I was not expecting to be collected by a new van with a really nice driver. The hotel is... More

Very important to realise beforehand is that there arent that many decent alternatives in tagbilaran. The place is mainly run by deaf people. They are very helpful. The place looks nice. Not much to do though. The rooms were ok. Our A/C was broken though, but we didnt tell the receptionist so we cant very well blame them for not... More

Clean and tidy place. The rooms are ok and comfortable but no fridge or kettle. We were happy to stay here as this place supports the deaf people of Bohol and Leyte Islands. Most of the staff employed are deaf. So happy my money was going to good use.

You are not only assured of good accommodation, you are also helping the staff and crew of this hotel since most of them are deaf and mute. They are very friendly and you are "forced" to learn the universal sign language. The facility is run by an NGO helping the deaf and mute. The food is generously good at the... More

Stayed here for 2 days--one before Panglao and stayed on our way back from Panglao. It's a no frills hotel but very clean. Staff are deaf-mute but it doesn't really make a difference at all. They are still able to provide the service to their guests. Wouldn't mind staying here again

You arrive at a fantastic entrance and are then welcomed by the friendly staff. With this being a hotel run by the deaf society, a lot of the staff are hearing impaired, but that doesn't detract from the over all feeling of being their most important guest. The room is very clean and comfortable with a pleasing decor. The shower... More

Stayed at the Dao diamond hotel on way back from panglao island and what a nice place it is for a good rest from the somewhat commercial area of alona beach. This place is so laidback its almost horizontal, most reviews on here tend to centre on the fact that its run by a deaf charity, but the memory I... More

This place is run by a local NGO supporting hearing impaired children and many of the staff are deaf. It's professionally run, clean and secure. The front desk staff all speak and will translate if necessary, but it's fun communicating with the deaf staff; they have a lot of patience with us. The hotel is on the outskirts of Tagbilaran,... The best thing about staying at this hotel is that you feel good about doing it. I wanted to support tourism in Bohol as well as deaf education. I think this hotel is doing good things for the community. It was easy to get checked in. I luckily read a review which let me know that a transfer would be... More

We are expirienced travelers in South East Asia wih children aged 7 and 5 . We found this hotel on Agoda when stopping over one night in Tagbilaran. We were checked in efficiently and without hassel. We were informed that a pick up service in harbour or at airport is included. Since we did not know that, they offered us... More
