Who says you can't go home again? I was in Puerto Pension 3 years and loved it. A week ago I went back because I had liked it so much - and partly to test it out. Hurrah. It surpassed all my expectations from the airport pick-up to the airport drop off a week later. Just a lovely, well-designed place.... More

We love this place. It blends to the simple living of the people in the area but it doesn't mean the place is plain. It is neat, clean and has a nice view upstairs. The location is close to the airport and to the town that it is convenient to walk around at night. Bay walk is just at the... More

In fairness, we had spent two weeks (prior to coming to Puerto Princesa) in PARADISE (Coron and El Nido). So coming to Puerto was a bit of a downer. People and cars and noise everywhere (gah!). We really did like the Puerto Pension though. The rooms are clean and nice, the courtyard is tranquil and beautiful. The wireless service was... More

Rustic, old style Filipino decor. Rooms were a bit small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The view from 4th floor dining room was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Baywalk.

My family and I chose this place based on the traditional decor and its price. It was a great value for the money. Staff is very friendly, although service in the restaurant can be extremely slow. The food wasn't bad, though, and we ended up eating there several times because if the convienence. Tours were great, and the outside courtyard... More

A tiny bit more expensive than some pensions in Puerto but well worth it. The rooms are cool, very clean, fridge and mini bar, TV, but without loosing any character. The little walkway outside you room has a table and chairs so you can sit and socialise out there if you like. The staff were very helpful and friendly and... More

I had a great stay here! Feels like home.. Rooms were clean, staffs were all friendly and accomodating. Perfect location (walking distance to the baywalk area and the cathedral. They also serve free breakfast. Room rates were a lil' bit higher compared to other pension houses but it is worth it! Perfect stay for a vacation/business trip. Highly recommended indeed!... More

beautiful grounds, friendly staff, comfy rooms and a wonderful breakfast (included on the top floor with great views). They added a jacuzzi (not hot water) private area that you can pay $10 to use which is very nice. Wifi is not good

Puerto Pension is very tastefully decorated, well-located and altogether pleasant. Having to pre-order your breakfast was a bit strange, but as we had a flight to catch the next morning, it made things faster, which was nice. The (upgraded) breakfast was actually decent. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful. Rooms are small, but in a tasteful 'native' style. Beds are super... More
