Cooper’s Resort is a very small and isolated hotel. Since the hotel is so far away from other places, you can only ask the reception to organize everything for you. We wanted to go to the Underground River, and we booked two nights at Cooper’s Resort, as we thought it was close to the Underground River, but the resort could... More

This guest booked to us for only two nights. Our transfer from the airport is a lot more cheaper than the others, also a lot more cheaper when they booked a van from the airport. Before they came we mailed them about the rates of the pick up transfer. And they chose to arrange the transfer with us. so we... More

Very warm welcome from the Cooper family, nice rooms and very relaxing atmosphere. Not a lot to do if you are not into scuba diving as it is quite remote but certainly worth a visit while in Palowan. Everyone was very helpful and eager to make our 4 day break as nice as possible. We were a little disappointed that... More

I was there with my girlfriend, we arrived with motorbike without pre-book. It was very hard to get an employe to the payment/entree desk. Anyway we found one and later checked in. I pretty must liked mostly that evening. But the morning when i tryed to check out i had a reeeeally hard time to do that. Again, nobody was... More

This "beach resort' has no beach!!! And that is where the deceit starts. It is a several foot retaining wall to within maybe a meter of the water. There is a little beach to either side on adjacent property - but not Cowper's. The water bottom is thick mud for as far out (a long long way) as you can... More

There's really no reason anyone should stay here. I thought it would be a good stopping point on the way to the underground river. I was wrong. I paid for the hotel to send a van to pick me up from the airport. They had me wait at the airport for over 2.5 hours waiting for an additional passenger because... More

Highly recommended for those who loves nature! It is in the middle of the fields/farms, a bit far from the main road, about 20min. walk (walking would be the most practical choice), but you would surely enjoy as the views are truly breathtaking. We stayed for 3 days and we super enjoyed it. It is quiet, the rooms are very... More

This is clearly a mixed review. First the good: The staff, including the owners, were very friendly and courteous. Owners, a German ex-pat married to a Filipina re-pat, met us at the airport and accompanied to us to the resort. All the staff, from the kitchen/dining, resort reception, housekeeping, bartending service, were exceedingly friendly. Next, the facility, though small, was... More

I visited in April with a couple of friends and originally booked Cooper's as a place to stay out of the rain! We got very lucky upon arrival at PP and enjoyed a sunny couple of nights at Cooper's. The staff are helpful and friendly (although you must ask the manager to turn the hot water on in the room)... More

Things we liked: -Our stay was wonderfully quiet and casual! Cooper's is a nice distance from the airport/city and is closed off from the surrounding properties, though you can still hear nearby chickens crowing. -The pool, rooms, and grounds are cleaned daily. -The staff was willing to help, and the owners are friendly Germans (meaning there are a lot of... We had a very relaxing and pleasant week at this little piece of paradise on Palawan. The staff were very friendly and very helpful at all times. A little disappointed in that the beach was small, shallow and that you could not swim, it would have been nice to have been able to swim and seen the great variety of... More
