Palo Alto is surprisingly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby main roads in Puerto Princesa. My group and I stayed in one of the cottages, steps away from their pristine pool (which was cleaned frequently) and poolside massage beds. The entire grounds has a uniquely serene ambiance which makes you feel you are miles away from... More

Our holiday getaway in Puerto Princesa was epic. Location is perfect and peaceful. The place is surrounded lush forest and vegetation. You can spot and hear the chirping and humming of birds within the compound. At night you can hear frogs and geckos. Kudos to all the friendly staff from our Breakfast to guided tours. Staff were very courteous and... More

The location for puerto is not too bad, but Puerto is definitly not a place to stay for more than a night, head up north as soon as possible, the rooms are clean but don t have a terrasse and commun area not really cozy. Staff are Nice but not very helpful. Pictures are nicer on the website than it... More

I loved that this place is very private and serene, tucked away from noise and busy roads - perfect for a retreat. Especially in Puerto Princesa, where you'll always need some form of transportation to take you from one attraction to another, being in a place where you can get your much needed R&R should be a priority. To compensate... More

Palo Alto is a bit off the city center but the commute back and forth downtown is worth it, sooooo worth it. Visit their website and the photos there will make you visualize a relaxing weekend retreat. I drooled over the photos there and I was suddenly imagining my vacation. Seeing it in person is another level. I call it... More

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations, but it's their excellent staff that really stayed with me. Remarkable service. Everyone in this charming little resort ALWAYS went the extra mile to make our experience unforgettable. They were extremely warm, generous, attentive, and had an impressive understanding of our needs. To anyone traveling to Puerto Princesa, you must book a stay... More

A great place for some R & R! A resort well designed that really incorporates the surrounding nature as part of the guest experience! Generously big and cozy rooms, comfortable beds -- perfect after a long day out exploring puerto princessa. Though what really stood out for me was their service. Very gracious, polite and the effort that they put... More

Don't really write reviews but have to give thanks to Palo Alto and staff. Everybody was very warm and helpful, and all smiles :) The tour guides and drivers in particular they provided for our day trips were very funny (special mention JuPETER and Mervin)... Love the design and commune/serene feel of the place. Was there with family and didnt... More

Spent a weekend with family in Palo Alto and we very much enjoyed our stay. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean; staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. I particularly loved the design -- a good mix of local and eco materials with pretty lush landscaping! Its nice that they built the resort around the big trees; it makes... More

Great place to relax with family and friends. Rooms were spacious, well lit and clean, I also love how the resort was built around the trees-- eco friendly plus giving the place a relaxing and airy feel. Staff are amazing--friendly and helpful. Good choices for breakfast and grreaaat coffee!! Design and details were thoughtful-- hooks, sockets for everyone, 2nd floor... More
