Stayed here with our family for several nights. We booked our room including tours to Underground river and Honda bay- it was fine, and we can recommend the tours. The hotel is placed a bit far from Puerto and not in walking distance to any 'stores' at all.. You need a tricycle to go anywhere- but that way is ok,... More

Our group stayed at palo alto for a week, and I must say that it is one of the greatest experience we had. From our coordinator in manila who assisted us very well to the excellent staff who are very polite. I must say that are experience in Palawan is exquisite...

I’m not too sure where to begin with my review of Palo Alto, as this good B&B could so easily be GREAT! The first thing I’ll say though is check your expectations. Palo Alto does not profess to be a hotel – it is first and foremost a B&B, and I suspect that their excellent website, alongside their great TA... More

Wow, this place is seriously incredible! It's not only beautifully constructed, but it is was built with the environment in mind. I love how much natural wood was incorporated and how the structure was built around the existing trees. The family who owns and runs this hotel is amazing. They have put so much thought into this property and truly... More

Love this choice that I made going for Palo Alto Bed & Breakfast when we visited Palawan! The place is exquisite and definitely my kind of "island nature" style. I love all the wood that they used and how they incorporated real live trees into the structure (or maybe worked around them). The lobby is superb and cozy, the courtyard... More

Palo Alto is a Bed and Breakfast type of accommodation. The architecture is indigenous and very local which adds to its rustic appeal. Much of the structures are made of concrete with bamboo claddings. The lobby while small is very appealing. The bed I must admit is a tad small. The cushion is an ordinary foam and not a mattress... Never have I stayed in a place more lovingly built, maintained and run by its owners. The uniquely intricate golden wood structure creates a relaxing Eden in the jungle, a calm which you would struggle to ever leave if you had nowhere else to go. As a work of passion, you know you have arrived at a place built by... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Palo Alto on the 24th of Jan for two nights and absolutely loved it. The grounds, the swimming pool and the rooms are beautiful and the staff were so lovely. We are already planning a trip back to the Philippines in another year and can't wait to stay here again. We also booked out... More

We stayed here for 3 night and it was wonderful. Our "loft" room was big enough for 4 people and had everything we needed. One of the best things about Palo Alto is the free shuttle they offer into the town centre twice daily with a free pick up also. The staff are wonderful and helped us book all of... More

We stayed here for 6 nights, with a 1-year-old and 3-year-old. It rained quite a bit so we spent a lot of time at the hotel, swimming in the pool, eating, etc. The pool is chilly at first but feels good. My 3-year-old absolutely loved it. He also loved counting the geckos on the outside walls at night. The food... More
