Smacked right at the heart of Puerto Princesa City, Skylight Hotel Palawan is a gem for business and leisure travelers alike. At first glance, I thought that the hotel's facade is simple and unimposing. But my eyes widened with positive anticipation as I entered the hotel lobby. Painted an all-white, the hotel interior was a simple white, quiet most of... More

We ate here twice whilst in PP and have to say that the service and value was excellent. We both had bbq chicken and mango shakes each for 370 pesos! They even give complimentary ice teas during your meal and a small fruit platter at the end! Great value, really accommodating staff and good food, what more could backpackers want!

Just stayed one night before leaving the island. It's kind of a quirky place but easily worth the money considering the free breakfast. Wish we would have eaten there the night before as it was a packed house & the menu looked affordable. They did try to deliver us room service, which we did not order. Other than that, it... More

It was indeed a pleasant stay with the courteous and friendly staff attending to your needs right there and then. I also enjoyed their food choices specially the various selection of seafood. I even had a conversation with some of the staff who have the willingness to provide me information about things to do in the city. I recommend this... More

The hotel has basic amenities and complimentary breakfast. If you will be out for adventure the whole day, this is okay because it is along Rizal Ave and very accessible. The hotel is old so don't expect too much from this. Try their barbecue :-)

You can considering staying at the hotel if you just need a decent place to stay in. They just have basic room amenities and hotel facilities. Bathroom needs a little renovation. Breakfast was quite good for the rate. Staff was accommodating.

Room: Stayed in room B5, basement room. Room has almost non-existent phone signal. Clean room but old furniture. Dark corridor leading up to the room. Didn't like that sewer smell that came up once in a while. Has a small cable ready 14" CRT TV. Washroom: Clean, with basic toiletries. Has water heater but lacked water pressure. Air conditioner: Cool... More

What you think... A wedding package was booked at the Skylight hotel for the wedding of my Brother and his Fiancé. Unfortunately the poor service and careless attitude of the staff spoilt what should have been a perfect joyful day for the happy couple. The waiting staff at the reception were unfriendly - not even smiling or able to be... More

stayed here for three nights and it was definitely amazing. Excellent staff there is. They were very friendly and the initiative to offer assistance was always present. Rooms were just ideal for the given price. It was modern and spacious. I stayed in their deluxe room and it was the perfect place to stretch-out and relax after a day work/tour.... More
