Terrible service! We arrived there on 31st and we asked about the New Year Eve dinner. It was already organized and included. They told us to be ready after 8:00 PM. When we arrived at the dinning area there was no table available and when we asked the guy at the bar about our table he said: "what do you... More

Our stay was quite contrary to a lot of the last reviews. We had a fantastic stay. They picked us up from the little airstrip in El Nido with their boat which was perfectly fine and had a beautiful ride to the secluded resort. We stayed five nights and had a beautiful bungalow with gorgeous views. The bungalow was spacious... More

We flew into PPS and after the crazy shuttle van journey we arrive at the bus depot expecting, as we were promised, that a boat would be meeting us. Instead, I received an email as we got off the bus telling us the last pick up was at 9pm (it was 1130pm) and the resort would be unable to collect... More

Now that I have your attention, let me say some positives about this place. The food was amazing. The chef, Jen, made us excellent vegetarian meals and was a very sweet and gracious person as were the whole staff. Our villa was gorgeous with a beautiful view to wake up to. There were only 2 other people staying at the... More

We arrived straight from a flight coming from Manila to PP and then the fast crazy minivan trip. After we finally got in contact with the hotel to pick us up, we were searched for by 2 guys, we needed to wait for another couple to join us before we could go. So finally went into the boat towards the... More

I recently returned from a week in Dolarog beach resort. It was not my first visit, but I enjoyed it so much when I was last here that it was an easy choice for me to return. Although it was supposed to be the rainy season, the weather was beautiful during our stay, with the added bonus that there were... More

I'm the husband of the previous review and I'll try to detail a little bit more on what she mentioned. On arrival to the resort, we were greeted by a very friendly staff. The owner (Edo) also greeted us and seemed very friendly. They gave us a sheet of the prices for excursions and cost of other things like rentals... More

Me and my husband decided to book our honeymoon at dolarog for 7 nights. Initially we loved the place, great location, nice looking rooms but then one thing led to another. I read a review earlier that said their food is "off high quality". That's a LIE. For breakfast the toast is always burnt (we had breakfast there for 4... More

Hi Ma’am, In 25 years of Dolarog we never heard any complained about our breakfast. For the bread we baked our own (homemade) Of course is white inside and brown outside. We don’t use tasty bread. FISH- I’m sorry to hear that but you ordered Filipino breakfast with dried fish (understood it’s salty). You should have known that because you... More

Dolarog was my home for 3 days. The resort is far from the noise and crowds of the town, very quiet and serene. The "huts" were comfortable and artfully selected. Slatted wooden walls and big windows let natural light and sea breeze in. Each hut has a huge veranda in front, complete with hammock and seating area. The beds were... More

After 6yrs. I am finally back in El Nido but this time with my soon to be husband. We chanced upon this beautiful retreat haven in some brochures and decided to try it for a night, but we ended up staying for more nights! The ambiance is surreal - it brought us real privacy and bliss! The food were superb... More
