It may have been almost 2 years since I last been to Apulit, but I remember it well. The time I was there was back in late {July 2011} and I must say, it was an incredible experience. Getting there from Manila, was interesting, too. Small plane ride from Manila to Sandoval, 10-15 jeepney ride to the river boat, river... More

A top class experience in every sense. The security, the quality of the amazing food and the activities offered, the location and marine life, the ambience and specially the staff. It is definetely worth travelling from El Nido just to visit this astonishing resort. MAGIC

We stayed at Apulit Island for 4 days 3 nights in April. We had our son with us as well. First, to get to Apulit Island from Puerta Princessa was a little bit difficult. You have to find transportation from the airport to El Nido which can take up to 5-6 hours so prepared for that. The hotel doesn't accommodate... More

The first big challenge (or part of the fun) is to actually get to the Island (app. 15 miles off shore). This can only be done (private charter is available but expensive) by taking a resort ferry which leaves Taytay Pier @ 3pm. Since we made our own way as we were traveling around Palawan, we were told to be... More

I just went with my family before Eastern to Apulit Island. It was the first time for us in the Philippines, so we didn't know what to expect. Apulit Island can be described in one word "Paradise"! El Nido has 4 different resorts in the area which are all excellent but I personally think Apuit Island is the best! If... More

Wow, what a holiday we had here! I wasn't sure it was going to live up to the reviews that I had read, but it sure did, and then some! The Excellent: 1) Resort - It was beautiful and very well kept. Our cottage over the water was recently remodeled (or at least it looked like it) and all of... More

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8JDH4V8XDY or https://vimeo.com/63139002 Our trip there was wonderful, great food, great service, peace and quiet, great snorkeling too. Worth every penny. The service was courteous, friendly, polite, and very understanding. I went on many snorkeling adventures, though I wish there were more, it was still enough to satisfy my needs there as I was only there for 4 days.

This is the place..... We went to three different reefs and also spent a lot of time on the house reef. The corals, the fish, the colors, the shapes and sizes - all a few feet below the surface - another universe entirely and well worth the somewhat daunting trip to get here. There can't be many places on our... More

We have travelled extensively over the world and objectively, Palawan is uniquely beautiful. Its a "last frontier" type of place that can be difficult to get to and back with some of the transport logistics not on par with the strived for (by the Hotel Group) experience. The beauty is in Palawan's fine little beaches, high cliffs, islands that sprout... More
