Overlooking Taytay the area is very nice, the price value is very good so we expected just an ordinary restaurant. But....wow....great offer of very good food and nice pizzas. Also nice the view direct to the anciend Spanish fortress.

Our experience with Casa Rosa has been nothing short of amazing. We booked a night in one of the small cottages as a stop over before heading off to an island hotel and we immediately regretted booking only one night. The cottage was so spacious and clean. Electricity is not available during the early morning until the late afternoon but... More

It's a gorgeous view from the restaurant of Casa Rosa, you can also find different type of animals like squirrels, skunks, different species of tiny birds that I never seen befor around the resort. I'm amazed in this place and I couldn't believed that there still an untouchable place like this in Ph. BRAVO Palawan for maintaining our rain forest!!! One... More

We were looking into staying somewhere in El Nico but were concerned about the possible 'bar scene' everyone was talking about. Taytay, and especially Casa Rosa, was exactly what we needed! Quiet garden surroundings, high up on a hill overlooking the ocean, non-intrusive but caring service by all the staff. We felt very relaxed and comfortable here. The cottage we... More

Easily the best place to stay in Taytay, Casa Rosa is 5/10 mins walk from the fort. Beautiful detached bungalows for rooms; all very comfortable with great views and peaceful gardens all around. Staff were really helpful, sorting tours (dolphin sighting was great) and onward transport and always friendly and cheerful. Excellent.

Really beautiful location on a small hill, overlooking fort and bay. Rooms a the cleanest and nicest we had in the philippines and the staff is really helpful and friendly!! They even tell you if a tour they sell is not worth it. If you wanna do the robinson crusoe trip tell them the guy who lives on dinamayan island... More

Nice cottage with huge bathroom! Really friendly staff. Good recommandation for beaches in El Nido (Las cabanas one). Good restaurant (special award for the pork adobo & pancakes...and if you're brave, try the Jack fruit) with stunning view on Taytay and its fort Isabel. Taytay is still an untouristic place...if you want to be immerged in local tradition...go there!

I spent one night in El Nido, but the cottage was beside a busy road, so I couldn't sleep. So the next morning I decided to visit Taytay which is along the route to Puerto Princessa. I had met the owner of the Casa Rosa Taytay while on the bus to El Nido, and I managed to contact the hotel... More

A little history for those visiting Palawan for the first time. The town of Taytay is a sleepy fishing village steeped in history, as evident from it's main attraction, Fort Isabela and the stunning breath taking views of it from the dining area of Casa Rosa. It's not hard to find, just ask and the townspeople will point you in... More

We only stayed one night in Taytay, enroute back to Puerto Princesa after a few days in El Nido. Sadly, the rain arrived about 40 minutes after our arrival, but thankfully we had time to take in a quick walk around the fabulously intact fort. Casa Rosa is one of the few places to stay in Taytay, which can be... More
