They have a pool albeit a small one and always full of people Beach is less crowded than white beach Room rates include plated breakfast Go snorkeling. 50 meters from the shore, underwater life is... Me and my two daughters really enjoyed our stay. Very pleasant place to be. The room just perfectly right for us. The breakfast choices are simple. The view from the room is just amazing. Walking at the beach feels relaxing. Easy access to tricycle service. Staff is helpful on things you need to know about the area to visit. We... More

I would love to visit Galera again and stay in this hotel again. Rate is a little bit expensive than a hotel accommodation on white beach but its all worth it. The place is so relaxing. The water is so calm and crystal blue. Not crowded.Anyway you can always transfer to white beach if you want to party or for... More

Nice beach, great pool. Big rooms with little comfort. No wifi in the room. Old TV with only 8 local stations. No security guards. No need to present any documents when checking in, only sign your name on a guest list! No more buffet style breakfast. You have to order and then to wait at least 50 minutes until your... More

Last May 18, 2015 we booked for an apartment type unit good for 8 persons, they said it includes 2 bedroom with a kitchen, and asked them through text if the rooms are air-conditioned but theres no effort to reply to your text, then I decided give them a call and they said yes. But when we arrived, we dont... More

Me and my Friends decided to chose this resort for our vacation at Puerto Galera. Upon arriving in this place I already noticed that he place and the location is very geographically seated in the very heart of the beach. I was amazed by the peaceful ambiance of this resort compared to White Beach just a couple of blocks away... More

Having read good reviews about Tamaraw Beach Resort. We decided to book a studio room for 3 days. It is also just across Stairway foundation which at the time of our booking, we need to attend a summer workshop so it's convenient for us. There's nothing to rave about the place. The rooms are decent with aircon and a stove... More

Spending time in a beach needs some peace and quiet time, and that's unwinding. Add some value for money and a good buffet, that's awesome! It is in Tamaraw beach Resort in Puerto Galera. Stayed there for a night with the company outing and turns out to be great. But, if you are of high standard with sophisticated taste on... More

Stayed for 2 nights in superior room booked through agoda. I think that you'd get ok value for your money with this resort. We were on a budget since our group was composed of 8 adults and 2 kids. The rooms were spacious enough for 2-3 persons, each extra person is charged 500pesos which includes free buffet breakfast already. What... More

I'm no stranger to south east Asian beach resorts so I'm able to taper expectations. TAMARAW gets good reviews but I struggled with the place as a business. It's one saving grace is the beach out front. The bungalows are tired but the multi level rooms are ok despite towels that we could see through.. The "restaurant" is an afterthought... More
