I have been going to La Laguna for over ten years. I go for its proximity to Manila, the trustworthy dive shop and dive staff, the decent food, clean rooms and beautiful location -- oh, and great diving. It is a relaxed dive place, not by any means a 5-star hotel, which I would not want for this kind of... More

We arrived at La Laguna after car, ferry, and small boat taxi, from the water and from my first impression was impressed. from that point on, the resort got more and more impressive. Our initial stay was two nights but after our first night, we decided to extend our stay by a night and would have been longer had we... More

I am currently living in Hanoi, Vietnam for two years, and have been traveling extensively throughout the Southeast Asia region. In April 2014 I was very fortunate to spend five days in Puerto Galera with friends, obtaining my open water PADI certification through the dive shop at La Laguna Beach Club. This was my very first trip to the Philippines... More

Family of 5 with three grown children, so we took Room 303 overlooking the water (2 queen beds plus paid for extra bed - still plenty of room). The pool table was fantastic with the whole upstairs area having a great outlook. A pleasant 2 night stay, we are not divers but love a snorkel and there were plenty of... More

I chose this resort because of the great reviews written here, hoping I will also experience it. To my disappointment, the only thing that happened in reality was a review about poor airconditioning unit of the rooms, which was totally true. During reservation, I specifically requested the rm 303 suite room because of the sea front view and balcony, the... More

I used to visit LLBC with my family, in the 1998-2006 timeframe. In fact, this is where they introduced me to scuba diving, and this where I got all my PADI certificates. I have been away, and used a different resort. For the Thai Songkran holiday, I decided to go back to LLBC - and it was wonderful to visit... More

This is the second time I have visited the resort. First time was back on September last year for 5 days. This time I was back to complete 2 TDI Tech courses... As normal staff and the management were great, especially Dono and Dave. Tech course instructor Mark Cox was a great teacher.

Fantastic experience. Accommodation first class, facilities the same, great for divers and none divers. All the staff are excellent and go out there way to make this an unforgettable holiday. Great dining experience at any time of the day.

I was torn between 3 and 4 star mainly due to the overly laid back dive center attitude. However, the hotel staff and room pushed it up to 4 stars. I have been diving in PG for years and my normal hotel/dive center was fully booked, so I took a chance by staying at LLBC. I must admit the hotel... More

Through the years LLBC has provided comfort and a certain adventure, in varying degrees. Depending on the season, your state of mind and the years that have grown on you. Unlike a lot of the resorts in the country, this is a mid range resort that provides better care, excellent grub and sub zero beer...even for breakfast.
