It was easy check in/out. Staff was nice. Food was adequate. Room was small with no wifi even though the ad said there was wifi in rooms. Had to go to main restaurant for the wifi. There was no bar even though the ad said there was. There was construction work going on from 8 am until 11 pm. White... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy hotel right on the ocean. The family running this hotel is very nice and will try to help you with anything you need. The rooms are rather small, but you would want to spend the day outside on the beach anyways. We had a great room looking at the ocean from our... More

For those looking for a quiet place to stay in Puerto Galera, Bamboo Beach Resort might just be the perfect fit for you - away from the noise of other usually-crowded places like White Beach. You get a great view of the sea while having your meal at a nipa hut in the garden. The caretaker can cook the food... More

If you need a relatively low-key, secluded location for a weekend get-away, Bamboo Beach is a great option. The resort is nestled in the hillside at Daluruan, across the bay from Muelle, with some excellent views of the water. The Couples room we stayed in was comfortable, breezy, and well-maintained. In the morning, it felt sufficiently balmy, even with just... More

Pros:The resort is comparatively cheap, the staff are friendly, it's a secluded place which is really great if you want to relax Cons: Rooms aren't very clean, no restaurant and you will have to buy food (you can cook the food, or have the staff cook them for you).

Pros -cheap and nice -serine -staff are very kind -there's a lot of scenery to explore Cons -no restaurant you need to have food before going there -rooms are not so clean -if the electricity went out, they don't have generator or emergency lights -far from where the party is

If your in a trip for beach bum mode this place may not be right for you. Very far from everything, night life in puerto galera is located in white beach or sabang. To go to white beach you need to take a boat to muelle which cost 250 per trip and doubles after 6 pm. From muelle port, ride... More

Very basic, cheap accommodation. Definitely not 5 star but great location if you like quiet, staff lovely, food good and reasonable. Rooms cheap and clean, some with shared bathroom. Very close to really nice beachfront Italian restaurant as well.

Island_princess may 3, 2008 just returned from puerto galera yesterday, my fiance and i stayed in a secluded simple resort at dalaruan, puerto galera 15mins walked from Coco Beach. The resort is a beachfront but not ideal for swimming but better stay in bamboo rather in white beach (the beach is no good and it's too crowded). The room in... More
