We were a group of 20 friends, with childrens and teenagers. Our objective for this week-end of 3 days was: to relax and dive. Giuseppe, the omnipresent owner of this great resort, perfectly understood our wishes and offered to us the best services with a remarkable efficiency. Exceptional diving conditions: material, boats, guides and instructors. Delicious Italian food. We'll come... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Fishermen's Cove in August. Being a foodie, I really liked the food and service, especially as all meals are included in the price. Great quality and lots of it. And the staff did everything we asked. The location of the resort was not so good, but they took us to a nice nearby beach... More

Its my first time in the Philippines with my family and it was one of the best summer. I stayed in Fishermen’s Cove for about a 3 weeks and everything was wonderful from start to finish. Here i got my Open Water Padi license which i have to thank Paolo and his dive team for who was also very careful... More

It was very lovely and welcoming. The food was spectacular and there was an amazing choice of activities for example scuba diving and snorkeling. The view is lovely and having a pier makes traveling very convenient. While there I learnt how to scuba diving and achieved my open water diving license.

We picked Fishermens Cove because it was No 1 on Trip Advisor. It was very hard to make a booking ln the Philippines but we found out later this is because most customers come from Italy. All the other guests were regulars from Italy. And we wanted to stay 2 nights, but you can only book "full boarding" where you... More

It's not our first time in Puerto Galera, but it's our first time in Fishermens cove, When we arrive we don't expect anything for its entrance which is really the back door had only garage but as we go inside....we we're surprise by luscious green plants and romantic view of the sea. The restaurant offers such an authentic and homemade... More

I took my Philippine girlfriend to Fisherman's Cove for a romantic get away, but she did not like it at all, especially the style and cleanliness of the bathrooms. As a result we didnt enjoy our stay as much as we had planned although I enjoyed the food very much. At best, it is a 3 star resort in a... More

Dear Mr. Your review and your girlfriend’s review "not for me" had been cancelled the first time because you have never stayed overnight at Fishermen's cove. You came one evening in March only to dine, but the resort was very full and we had difficulty to serve other people, so the waitress kindly explained to you that we don’t accept,... More

This review is for Fishermen's Cove restaurant only, as I have not stayed in the hotel. Fisherman's Cove is located in Santa Nina, about 1 km outside of Puerto Galera town proper. To get there, you must have a motorbike or take a trike. The resort is Italian owned and operated and sits on a small cove. The good: the... More

Why do most foreigners think "nipa" style resorts are the best the Philippines has to offer. To a Filipino this is cheap "farm style" accommodation to be shared with all the insects and bugs that love nipa huts and bamboo. Plus Fisherman's Cove is not kept very clean, especially the bathrooms. I will agree the food was very good and... More

Dear miss....................... Just to let you know fishermen’s cove is not only nippa huts accommodation. The fishermen's cove is composed of 15 deluxe rooms with air conditioning, each room is 35 sqm, and 2 suite rooms, each 50 sqm, all of the rooms are newly built and with beautiful sea view. There are only 3 nippa huts, which i kept... More

I was traveling solo on a dive trip to Puerto Galera & stayed 5 nights at Fisherman's Cove from 17-22 June 2014. The owner, Giuseppe ( he is a true Italian ), arranged for my pickup from Manila International Airport to Batangas & from there by a private boat to Puerto Galera. The connections went smoothly without any hitches. The... More
