I stayed there for two nights together with friends to visit the nearby rice terraces. Instead of taking a room, we had to pay per bed, much like in a hostel. The room had not a single power outlet. Instead I have seen a few power sockets in the ground floor restaurant. As well as a list stating the prices... More

Arriving at Banaue, the easiest spot to see and looked welcoming is the People's Lodge and Restaurant. I basically go straight here on my visits since I know nothing more and don't stay long. Arriving at 6AM from Baguio, a good breakfast was what we were looking for. There are the basic choices on the menu. I would say twice... More

The peoples is the best organized guest house Banaue. And the smartest. They have people walking around town who act like an walking commercial for the guest house as soon as they see a traveler with bags. Smart. Because of this, its the busiest one as well. They have basic, simple rooms for a reasonable price and the restaurant is... More

When we got in at 4am from our bus trip from Manila, we headed here to kill time before we looked for a ride to Batad Saddleback. It was the only one we saw that was open at that time. We had very basic breakfast and coffee. The terrace had a view of some rice terraces. We asked around some... More

If you can suffer though the lodge co owner sucking back his emphysemic spittle and put up with the chocolate coloured dog licking it's balls in the dining area then look no further. There is no electrical socket in most rooms so many guests charge devices downstairs. The shower and toilet are co-located in a small area. I believe some... More

If you compare Banaue to Sagada, you will notice that Banaue is much more 'commercial' and trying to get as much out of your wallet. Luckily we stayed in this place only one night as a stopover for going back to manila. I see the banaue rice terraces frol out of the jeepney that bring us from bontoc. Next day... More

When I tooked shower and was wearing clothes, madam said, "The next person used", "Make a bathroom check", so l opened the door, and she checked it. And... More

We stayed there for two nights while visiting the terraces. The place is quite run down, cold and would benefit from some renovations. Our room was basic, damp, dusty and a bit smelly for which we paid 600 pesos. We did not have A/C, nor a view and the windows were towards the street, so we were woken up by... More
