We spend about 3 weeks on the Philippines and this was the most "basic" room that we had. It was absolutely overpriced, pretty damp and generally in a very bad state but the bed was comfortable and they provided thick blankets against the cold. And since we came with the night bus from Manila and were very tired, we basically... More

The owner was nice, it's just that the room price isn't reasonable. A bit expensive for a basic room that doesn't even have a female outlet/receptacle inside. You have to go to the common living room and plug your phones and other gadgets. Some rooms has awesome view though

We stayed here because the Sanafe was booked. I don't think I have ever received such horrible service in my life at a hotel. Firstly, this place is VERY basic. It is about 16USD a night, which seems grossly overpriced for the hole in the wall concrete room that you get with cold showers. (They say they have hot showers,... More

We contacted them via phone and reserve a room for two for overnight stay. The agreed price was P750/night, but we were charged P800 because our room has a view. Though its true that we have a good view of the terraces, but they should have mentioned during our phone conversation. Furthermore, our room is located at the ground floor... More

This is the worst hostel I have stayed in over 10 years worth of backpacking. On entry to the hostel we was informed by the receptionist (Miss Idontgiveas-hit) that the only double room available was one with a view which was more expensive. After reading over other reviews on tripadvisor after we had paid for two nights, we found that... More

Stayed 2 nights, the lodge is at the center of the town with balconies every floor. Great view while having breakfast at the restaurant, this is also the meet-up point for those taking the day trip to Batad (leaves 8:30am- 500 php each- back by 4pm). The Rooms have no electrical sockets, so you have to go upstairs in the... More

Okay a couple of things. 1. The shower was not hot! 2. The people from the lodge are really unfriendly. 3. In the middle of the eating area there a table for people for the staf. A lot of tourguide are also sitting there en try to sell you a tour while you're eating. The ambiance was horrible because of... More

The food is dreadful, terribly bland. They even switched off the lights before we finished. There was this persistent whiff of urine in the balcony. Go to 7th Heaven's Cafe, for the same price you get much better value and a peaceful experience.

I stayed there for two nights together with friends to visit the nearby rice terraces. Instead of taking a room, we had to pay per bed, much like in a hostel. The room had not a single power outlet. Instead I have seen a few power sockets in the ground floor restaurant. As well as a list stating the prices... More
