This place wasn't very nice! I think we paid 400-500 pesos each from a private room. The room itself was ok, comfyish beds and clean but the toilet was gross. Not unclean but it was like a prison cell. The shower was broken and in the same room as the toilet which was tiny! The staff didn't understand much and... More

The only positive thing about this place is the price witch is ok. 200pesos. But i would rather pay 50-100pesos more for a nice and friendly staff. If you ask them something they would never answer you with a smile. NEVER. They close the main-door at 9pm, and if you want to go in after that they will yell at... More

We can't address the hotel but based on the restaurant we wouldnt stay here. We were dropped off here by the free shuttle we were bundled into after the overnight Ohayami bus from Manila. Before, during, and after the marginal breakfast we were hounded by a guide and we allowed ourselves to be suckered into an overpriced minivan to the... More

Very basic hostel: rooms have beds and tables. not more. There are no sockets in the rooms. Phones, tablets etc have to be charged in the reception/restaurant. Reason: "guests charge their mobile phone which may catch fire." What a stupid explanation !! Touts hanging around in this hostel to offer overpriced tours. People's Lodge is just ok for one night,... More

We spend about 3 weeks on the Philippines and this was the most "basic" room that we had. It was absolutely overpriced, pretty damp and generally in a very bad state but the bed was comfortable and they provided thick blankets against the cold. And since we came with the night bus from Manila and were very tired, we basically... More

The owner was nice, it's just that the room price isn't reasonable. A bit expensive for a basic room that doesn't even have a female outlet/receptacle inside. You have to go to the common living room and plug your phones and other gadgets. Some rooms has awesome view though

We stayed here because the Sanafe was booked. I don't think I have ever received such horrible service in my life at a hotel. Firstly, this place is VERY basic. It is about 16USD a night, which seems grossly overpriced for the hole in the wall concrete room that you get with cold showers. (They say they have hot showers,... More

We contacted them via phone and reserve a room for two for overnight stay. The agreed price was P750/night, but we were charged P800 because our room has a view. Though its true that we have a good view of the terraces, but they should have mentioned during our phone conversation. Furthermore, our room is located at the ground floor... More

This is the worst hostel I have stayed in over 10 years worth of backpacking. On entry to the hostel we was informed by the receptionist (Miss Idontgiveas-hit) that the only double room available was one with a view which was more expensive. After reading over other reviews on tripadvisor after we had paid for two nights, we found that... More

Stayed 2 nights, the lodge is at the center of the town with balconies every floor. Great view while having breakfast at the restaurant, this is also the meet-up point for those taking the day trip to Batad (leaves 8:30am- 500 php each- back by 4pm). The Rooms have no electrical sockets, so you have to go upstairs in the... More
