arriving here in the dark does not prepare one for the gorgeous view that greets you upon sunrise. each window and angle presenting a postcard-pretty vista. the architecture blends with the setting and is respectful to native traditions. quite good food and coffee at their restaurant as well. however, the novelty of living in a (simple but cozy enough) hut... Fantastic place with the most magnificent view over the rice terraces. Kind and helpful staff. The cottages and toilets were clean all the time and the food was good. And the we had a fantastic tour in the rice terraces with the guide Elvis. Can only recommend the place and the guided tour - also for families travelling with children.

Native Village Inn has amazing views of the rice terraces which take the breath away. It now has a proper road, so is easily accessible but is still very quiet. The Ifugao traditional huts look stunningly good, and were extremely enjoyable to live in for the three nights we were there. Despite (because of!) the simplicity, it is a real... More

I can't believe all 7 of us slept comfortably in our ifugao hut! The owners were kind enough to allow us to stay in one hut. We loved everything. Food was good, communal restrooms & showers were kept clean all throughout our 3 nights stay. The best part of the inn was the view deck overlooking the terraces, spent most... More

My partner and I recently stayed here for 3 nights during a fortnight's travelling holiday of the Philippines. This was without a doubt our favourite stop of the whole holiday. Note that this was also the cheapest night's stay, as we were mostly in mid to upper range hotels and resorts. The owner Graham and his family were very accommodating... More

We stayed there for two days. They arraged everything for us. The first day we went to the hapao rice terraces and an hot spring. The second day we went to batad. We had a great guide and Batad is just awesom. The rice terraces are just WOW. You pay a price but it was worth it.

I would highly recommend Native Village Inn for those seek a unique experience. The huts have the same design as traditional Ifugao huts. Very simple and basic - all you have in the hut / room is a mattress on the floor, minimum lighting, and a small mirror. The best part about the hut is the view. It's simply amazing!... More

Ifugao huts on top of a mountain with great views of the famous Rice Terraces. We loved it. The huts are basic; you get a mattress, sheets, blanket and pillow plus a couple of power points. The communal bathrooms are clean and the showers are hot! The food is well prepared and tasty, although sometimes some items are not available.... More

My husband and I enjoyed a short stay at Native Village Inn in September and can't say enough good things about it. The B&B is far preferable to any hotels in the area, and it makes for a real change of pace. The "huts" are modernized and very comfortable, with good mattresses, track lighting, and outlets, but at the same... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the ifuago huts. As their website says, the huts are very rustic, but we like that type of thing so really enjoyed staying in one! The view of the rice terraces here is spectacular. They have a couple of outside tables where you can eat breakfast or lunch looking out at... More
