This hidden gem is located 30 minutes from Banaue town proper via Jeepney and is worth the harrowing trip across winding makeshift roads! This Inn provides spectacular views of the Hapao rice terraces from the restaurant and its multiple view points. The native huts while basic are comfortable and spacious. As it is remote the only option is to eat... More

We only stayed one night on the way to see the Rice Terraces but it was comfortable and the views from our breakfast table were amazing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They picked us up in the local town and drove us through the treacherous roads and landslides to get to the resort. Arriving late in the evening, they opened... More

If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind, think, and reflect... If you are tired of the busy streets of the metro and the stressful noise of the city, this is the best place to escape from it! The view was amazingly perfect. When my partner and I went here, we did not need to go far to... More

For a more detailed review, check out my article with pictures of the place: http://inggiterangbyahera.blogspot.com/2014/05/native-village-inn-uhaj-sleeping-inside.html We stayed here last weekend with my family. The road going to Native Village Inn from Banaue was under construction plus a few landslides transpired the day before we arrived so we weren't able to cross our vehicle. But Graham, the owner, made sure that... More

This place is really lovely ! The view is just wonderful, you can take your breakfast in front of the rice terrace. The huts are simple but clean. The common bathroom and toilet are realy clean too. The restaurant is also great, with a lot of choices

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was such an experience. Their rooms are native Ifugao houses so we had a feel of their "lives"! Very clean outside-comfort and shower rooms. Great food selection and warm staff. Owner is very accommodating! Rooms are warm enough for the very cold mountain breeze of banaue. Perfect view as well and you can... More

I am really glad that I chose the Native Village inn to stay at. I knew I would be unhappy elsewhere, and made sure to schedule my trip around days that they had availability. The Native Village inn is not in the city. I arrived in the overnight bus from Manila, and there was a driver waiting for me to... More

Set high up in the mountains you get the most amazing views! Food is alright, not anything amazing. Staff very helpful and their tour guides are great! The rooms look over the hapau rice terraces, which are over 4000 years old. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to take a visit to see the rice terraces.

We stayed at the Native Village Inn for three nights in early February 2014. I have to say that this excursion was probably the highlight of our three-week sightseeing trip in the Philippines. You can read other travelers’ reviews of the Native Village Inn. They are all correct, whether they liked the accommodations, or not. It depends on the personality... More

I was really looking forward to staying here after all the great reviews (and pain in the butt to get here, having driven to Banahue from Manila and then local trike, a motorbike with sidecar, the 10 km up the mountain through terrible rough and mucky roads) - but it fails to deliver in spite of wonderful, jaw-dropping scenery. Everything... More
