This property was somewhat difficult to find, but it looks like they are working on the road from Banaue to the property in Uhaj. You stay in little huts, which is nice, but certainly not elegant. The restaurant is out of this world. Try the curry. Outside the huts, there is a table with a viewpoint into the rice terraces... More

I was so excited when I found this place and it was superb. We had a two night stay and really wished it was longer especially as getting there from Manila involved a nine hour tortuous bus ride overnight - (the worse experience ever). But all that melted away when we were welcomed by Mary. By far our favourite place.... More

Spent 4 nights at NVI and from day one I found in love of this beautiful inn and the surroundins. The facilities are rustic but that is part of the experience in statying in Ifugao province. The share facilities including toilets and showers were alwapys kept clean and never ran out of hot water. Having breakfast and the afternoon tea... More

Live like the locals in a native hut (which I now call Hut Hotel) with a clean (but communal) bathroom (so schedule your trips to the bathroom) and owners are so so so nice and very accommodating. (Our car broke down and they managed to go out of their way just to pick us up). However, food service is so... More

The property is about 10k away from banaue & a bit awkward unless you are driving, the road though in process of upgrading is not finished - you need a 4X4 or hotel transport. Despite the road upgrade I would imagine, any bad weather and there would be land slides causing you and your group to be a little stuck... More

The owners are very nice and welcoming. The cottages are lovely - it's basic but very clean. The view is stunning! The restaurant service is delicious (try the curry and the leche flan) although very slow but ..welcome to the Philippines for that !

Native Village is a bit of an adventure, full of promise, that doesn’t fully deliver. Our visit started badly when the promised cycle pick up at the bus didn’t arrive. It turned out that Graham, the owner, to whom we texted. lives about 50 miles from Native Village and forgot to pass the word. Native Village is a set of... More

The village gives you high standard traditional Accomodation with shared facilities. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained and worth the trek up the hill to stay there. Beautiful views down into the valley can be enjoyed whilst enjoying a well made pot of tea. Trikes to get you out and about to local beauty spots are readily available.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Native Village Inn. The property is gorgeous, perched high up on a mountain overlooking rice terraces. Each of the 10-or-so bungalows is perfect for a couple. Clean, spacious, and with a sense of adventure. The staff were numerous, and all quite friendly and accommodating. They were able to arrange all... More

- Serene and absolutely beautiful place to stay. The huts are placed at the top of a hill and you can see the terraces on both sides of the hill. - The staff is gracious. - Food: Basic. Curry chicken was delicious. - Bring your own shampoo. It would be a good idea to use biodegradable soap and cleaning products... More
