The staff was very helpful and spoke great English. Sammy helped with trip planning both in the city and for future destinations. The room was clean and tastefully done. The location was excellent. Walking distance to the train station and also to shopping in the city and historical locations nearby. I felt very comfortable. I love how the staff always... More

Decent option in a popular tourist area. However, I thought it was too pricey given that there was no window and that we had lots of cockroaches in the bathroom!!! The hostels advertisement reads "Clean and comfortable" but all those cockroaches did you match this Claim. I was nervous showering as I was on a constant watch out for an... More

The staff are very friendly and the layout is perfect with a nice sitting area out the front. Definitely recommend staying here, however don't get too comfortable on this side of town (Sosrowijayan) as the other side (Prawirotoman) is also worth checking out.

Don't think just book. We (couple) stayed here for 2 nights and This hostel provides everything you can wish for Pro: - good rates - clean linnen and bathroom - private bathroo,m - quiet at night! And in a sefe area - close to city centre and trainstation - helpfull staff - some of the best restaurants just around the... More

First off, great little hotel. I stayed for two nights in the second cheapest band after I was told the economy rooms don't exist anymore - I payed 175,000 which was above budget but given the quality I thought it was worth it. The staff were great especially the Swiss owner who was a highly affable guy. The breakfast was... More

The place in general, the room and the bathroom were clean and in good condition. The breakfast was decent. But if you look at the room size with a tiny window facing a wall I think they charge too much. WiFi was good. The same tours can be booked cheaper in other palaces.

The hotel is located in a really small and quite road where motorbike can't pass. The main street of Jogja is not far away (10 minutes on foot) and also the train station is easy to reach on foot. We booked a deluxe room by email because they reserve standard rooms only for walkin-in guest. The room was small but... More

We didn't stay at Andrea Hotel, but booked a tour for Bromo-Ijen-Bali with them. Very accomodating: they agreed to pick us up in Solo instead of Jogjakarta. Everything was well planned and all went according to what was told. Very friendly and helpful staff!

The location of this hotel is excellent; right next to the train station and walking distance from Malioboro street (where also becaks and horse carriages can be found). And Sammy was very helpful in arranging private trips for us exactly as we wanted it to be arranged. You'll sit nice and cosy on his little veranda. The rooms are very... More

The location is good, in the sense that it's near the train station, but it's not what I'd say is the ideal location in Yogyakarta. Still, it's not terrible. There is a lot of tourist information around and they try get as much out of you as possible. Everyone is trying to make a commission out of you so beware!... More
