This hotel is designed for backpacker to rest and feels like home. There is no swimming pool or gym but there are some gym stuffs where you can exercise. You can choose no bathroom or with bathroom, the earlier you book you will have cheaper price. The hotel is located not far from taman sari and malioboro

Good for sleep just for 1 night not more. The television inside the bedroom not working, poor serve breakfast hopefully they could upgrade the menu. Friendly staff but will be good if they could renov a bit the house to make it more cozy.

I've had a generally good experience with this hotel (hostel?), but there have also been some cons. I booked a bed in a dormitory. As I am a solo backpacker, such rooms make it easier to socialize with other solo travellers. The room meant to serve as a dorm had two twin beads and was air conditioned but apart from... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in total between a trip to Mount Merapi. Cheap price of rooms and the breakfast that is included is well worth it. A buffet style of Indonesian dishes and a rice, alongside unlimited eggs and a pan to cook whatever you like with them. Lots of bread and jam available also. This hostel has been... More

I stayed at Casa de Raffles over Christmas. The hostel itself is clean with great laundry facilities and good showers. The dormitory was also clean, air-conditioned and the beds were comfy. It's in a good quiet location too, if you're a light sleeper. The common space has a piano which is great for the rainy days! It's a five minute... More

The condition of the hotel was below standard and not what it seems on profile. My room was big but shabby in general and my bed sheet and towels had stains and marks despite presumably being clean. The staff are not always at the desk so had to wait for them. They didn't speak English well so it took effort... More

Casa de Raffles a.k.a. Yogyakarta Backpacker is very comfortable. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Due to the train schedule, my friend and I arrived in Jogja much earlier than we planned. I called mbak Bertha, the girl who is in charge for the hostel registration. She welcomed us and gave us a clean room. Some of the guests hung... More

I’ve been in my share of hostels around Asia and this is by far the worst place I’ve stayed at. Three of us girls had to check out of Edu Hostel (which is the best place affordable place to stay in my opinion) because they were fully booked for one of the nights we were there. We decided to share... More

This hostel is centrally located. The price per night includes breakfast and the use of washing machines for stays that are more than 3 nights. The staff members, though speak little English, are friendly and helpful. I spent the least amount of money at this hostel in all Indonesia , and still got A/C and no mosquito bites. :)
