I was really pleased with this little gem. It's located right next to the street where tourists are so you're within easy reach for bars&restaurants which was great. The family are very friendly and the kids aren't that noisy. Room was well furnished had everything you needed (mosquito net and plug in repellant). If you keep your bathroom door shut... More

This place is very nice. Good location, near very good restaurants, ATMs and petrol stations. The room is clean, with nice interior. The bathroom is clean and nicely designed, although the sink is outside the room, which is a bit strange for me. I read other reviews and the owner did keep his words. There's a lovely mosquito net in... More

Located in a good area near to bars and restaurants. This is a friendly quiet homestay with a nice friendly couple and their two children ( the cutest little two year old daughter). There is a nice simple breakfast and the rooms are clean and safe. I enjoyed my time here and have no hesitation in recommending.

Without a doubt, the best place to stay in whole Asia! I still dont know how to thank the family for all the help and service they provided! Do you still have doubts? Trust me, go there! Pros + Awesome breakfast. They even made us breakfast the day we were leaving at 6am, they woke up early and everything was... More

Nice location, in the hotel/touristic area very well served in terms of restaurants/money change (we suggest Kresna, at the end of the main Prawirotaman street). Close to Maliorboro is reachable by a 5 mins taxi ride (but it will cost you no more than 20k IDR so say 1.5 euro). The homeowners is very kind and will try to accomodate... More

I don't disagree with any of the positive comments here, but there are a couple of issues that are being ignored. The most important is that there are large gaps around the patio doors and below the roof, which gives free access to mosquitos - and the lawned garden means that there are a lot of mosquitoes. There are no... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We installed a bed-net (mosquito net) as a default for our rooms. I think it's UNFAIR to compare our USD 20 rooms with another homestay's USD 35 rooms. It's like comparing Yogyakarta Sultan's Place with The Buckingham Palace or with Versailles. I believe our USD 20 room has more facility than the other... More

10/4/2014 to 14-04-2014 – 4 nights Very nice B&B. Rooms a little on the dark side. One English language film a night but not a lot else in English. Very pleasant garden and seating area where breakfast is served. Coffee and tea appeared to be available all day. Generally quiet location except for the surrounding mosques (there are at least... Bear in mind that this is a homestay, thus some expectations would be quite unfair to impose. So here goes: Pros: -Most taxi drivers and bechak drivers are familiar with this place therefore I didnt spend time instructing them where to go -nicely decorated room -Staff are friendly and attended to my needs, and helped me book tours/bechak -quiet surroundings,... I just came back yesterday from a short trip to Jogja with my husband, we stayed 2 nights at de pendopo. The place is located at small alley in Jalan Prawirotaman, and very easy to be searched using googlemaps in my android. Prawirotaman itself is a street quite popular among foreign tourists. We got the second room from the entrance,... More

After an 18 hour flight and a 4 hour stay in Jakarta. We left to Yogjakarta. When we arrived at the home stay we were surprised by the accommodation. The green grade was very lovely, our host was quite shy but very helpful. The bedroom was decorated very smart, a large mirror is placed to make the room seem bigger.... More
