We had a very enjoyable stay here. The location is great - right next to Prambanan and a short drive from the airport (handy for a very early morning flight home). We were really pleased that we stayed here and not in the hustle and bustle of the city. It was great to have our own little cottage - we... More

We could not ask for more during our stay at Poeri Devata. The staff greeted us with ample smiles and a refreshing fruit juice. Our cottage was bright, clean, and very spacious. We enjoyed our semi-open bath and shower, decorated with lush plants and a tall wall for privacy. The gardens are lush and very well kept, and the views... More

In July 2014 my wife and I spent 2 nights at Poeri Devata. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible. We had originally reserved a cottage for one night, but requested a second night when we arrived. It was no problem. We were checked-in and shown to our cottage within... More

We traveled from Borobudur to Prambanan via the back roads which was a great trip for the scenery and a respite from the Yogyakarta traffic. When we arrived at Poeri Devata we were delighted with the quaint old world style of the place and didn't originally realise how large an hotel it was.It has a very personal feel and all... More

Stay at Poeri Devata if you want to check out Prambanan and Ratu Boku temples. Both are a pleasant bike ride away, though Ratu Boku does require you to bike up a steep hill, and Poeri will rent bikes to you for a few bucks. We arrived late at night and their staff were kind enough to spend 30 minutes... More

If you love waking up in the morning with views of the temple or the mountain, this hotel is for you. We had a wonderful, wonderful stay! Plus, staff service was also awesome. They have assisted us from the night we came until our Prambanan tour. The shuttle service is free, too. Our Jogjakarta experience had been memorable because of... More

We just spent 3 nights at PD over the new Year and were not disappointed by the quality of the services provided. A very friendly little resort, a little gem nestled amongst the paddy fields, with their clean and neat bungalows set in lovely grounds so close to Prambanan temples and the Ramayana theatre. It poured and poured while we... More

We stayed at the Poeri Devata for a few nights last week. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the peramban temple. We rented bicycles and went from temple to temple on paths and through villages surrounded by rice paddies. Amazing experience! We had our 3 kids, they loved the pool. Staff are very nice. Food was good. The... More

Warm greetings, lovely views, adorable and helpful staff, good food and superb location for this resort made of cottages set in a garden, with open views on rice paddies, and walking distance to the Prambanan temples. I was there for a seminar and we were treated like very special guests, with the full and kind attention of the manager Ibu... More

This is a little series of little bungalows (which can be easily confused in the dark!) in a setting of padi fields just beyond the walls (and attending cricket & frog noises, either rustic or irritating). Hence, wifi in hotel lobby only. Showers are outdoor but still private behind the walls (again, quaint or disturbing depending on your comfort level).... More
