Arrive at 03:00 in the morning, exhausted to have shower and wanted to sleep. But the hot water were not there (we pay extra for that). Move to another room which was having strong smell. WE have to bring all room facilities ourself and the hot water in new room was only available for 2 minutes and then cold again.... More

We stayed 4 nights in September and was very disappointed with the Hotel. The Hotel is located right next door to a nightclub/restaurant and loud amplified music reverberated throughout the room until the late hours of the night. The general cleanliness of the room was of great concern. Mould was on the walls and ceiling as well as the bedhead... More

We stayed in Merbabu for 3 nights. The price is acceptable, but not the cheapest one. You can use WiFi on the terrace only, where you can also have tea/coffee 24/7. The room is not that clean and the staff somehow ignores you in my opinion. They did not even say hello when we came back in the evenings. So... More

We planned to stay here for 5 nights during our stay in yogya, but stayed only 1. We arrived late at night and were really tired from travelling so we accepted the room (fan and cold water) eventhough we we not pleased with it. We are low budget backpackers so are used to low budget accom, but this room was... More

well, me and my friend not booked any hotel yet when we arrive at jogja and just go directly to Sosrowijayan street. We found this hotel so easy, near from everywhere especially malioboro street. The room is quite clean, with balcony and we can see sosrowijayan street gt 1 from our balcony/veranda. The breakfast was awesome, we can choose between... More

We booked a basic fan room and found the room to be comfortable and of a reasonable size. The bathrooms are never brilliant Indonesia and this was no different but we didn't have any problems with it and a cold shower is normally welcomed after a day in the heat. The hotel offers breakfast on the top floor, where there... More

The first I went backpacking to Yogyakarta, and haven't booked the hotel yet in Yogya at that time. I found Merbabu Hotel, the first hotel I visit when I was looking for hotels to stay. I didn't regret my choice because Merbabu Hotel is cheap (Rp 110.000, in 2010, high season), with that price, we get breakfast, fan, private bathroom, and... More

This hotel is located smack in the middle of Yogyakarta's major shopping street, Malioboro Street. It takes a mere couple of minutes to walk to the main street where shops galore. The room was small but rather clean. However, there were ants on the dressing table. Breakfast is provided at the rooftop but limited choices. There are travel agents located... More

the cost of staying was average. I took the a/c room for 250k per night, the staffs were friendly, the rooms clean, but not clean enough. the tap was not properly running and difficult for me to use. It took only a minute or two to get to Malioboro street and very near with circle k, the small market. only... More
