We were in Tembi Rumah for 3 nights . The first two days we were not happy at all. We wanted to eat en drink something when we arrived but everything was sold out ( no food from the menu , no beer , no cola , no avocado juice ) they told us they had a wedding the day... More

Great place. Lovely Javanese architecture. The swimming pool after a long hot day in town is great! Meals were included in the price - but the choice was limited to only Indonesian food (something else than rice would have been nice for breakfast). So was the pick up at the airport. The main downside (beside the lack of choice for... More

The place is outside of Yogya, close to different villages. Very good when you want to see village life up close. It's still close to the Yogya (20 mins to train station, 10 mins to Kraton). 3 Indonesian meals & coffee/tea time are included in the price, including airport pick up both ways. They also do free Malioboro drop offs.... More

Clean, restfull, gracious staff , traditional meals included and no repeats in five days. Part retreat, museum, art gallery, music school, mini resort. The rooms are actually bungalows the size of a traditional house. Enjoyed real traditional Indonesian food for 5 days without a repeat. Included in price. Made good use of the pool. Walls are thin and ocals staying... More

Property set-up wise: traditionally terrific, everything we needed for a convenience hotel room was there, but brace yourself: No TV. F&B selection was good and unique; they even have "Grilled Squirrel with Blackpepper Sauce" on the menu. My recommendation would be to try their delightful "Teh Poci" (traditional tea in a clay pot) for a delightful afternoon. Service: excellent staff.... More

RBT is one of Yogya's most unique accommodation options. A beautifully presented boutique hotel built within the grounds of a living cultural centre on the edge of the rice fields by the small village of tembi 8klm from Yogyakarta. The accommodation is based on small traditional wooden hoises reclaimed from around the area, that have been converted into stand alone... More

My husband and I were staying at another accommodation nearby. However, we thoroughly enjoyed eating a few meals at the restaurant on the premises. The food was delicious, extremely reasonable in price and authentic. The staff were delightful and most anxious to help us order exactly what we wanted. We learned to make sure they didn't add sugar to our... More

I should've known this place from the get go,yet no. Well,The location is quite far from the city. Yet when I stepped my foot there I feels so quiet, everything is so calm, and I see, okay, this place is just small, but no, they actually have pretty widearea. The rooms rate are cheap, pools inside, the foods are amazing, they... More
