I had a great experience at the Viavia Guesthouse. I was in room Bali, which is a private room with a private bathroom. There are also dorms available. I loved the courtyard where you can relax by the pool or just read your book. In a crowded city this is a nice little getaway. Loved the breakfast!!!! Finally some nice... More

We stayed for 4 nights in April during our one month long Indonesian trip. We found ViaVia through Lonely planet and their own very impressive website. What isn't apparent on the website is that the guesthouse part of the business is down a small street a few minute walk from the main shop/ restaurant/ travel agent (which is located on... More

We stayed in "Papua" for a few nights at the end of our stay in Indonesia. The room was clean but the bathroom tended to stay damp and smell as a result. The breakfast was tasty and served in a lovely courtyard area. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay again. Of note the guesthouse is located... More

Viavia guesthouse is owned by local women. This is for sure the best recommendation. You get a clean room, quiet guesthouse is a side street of JL. Prawirotaman. And there is the nicest atmosphere of the garden with swimmingpool. And last but not least a very good breakfast. The service is very friendly

I recently visited Jogja again after 4 years, and while the Jl. Prawirotaman stretch gets busier and busier with hotels and tourist spots - I was happy to find that the excellent value and friendly staff at ViaVia guesthouse hasn't changed one bit! This really is a good location in the south. Very close to all the tourist spots and... More

After a warm welcome by the staff we could choose between a room with private or shared bathroom. We chose the latter and this shared facility was in fact one of the cleanest we had so far (and we always pick the private ones). They have a lovely garden where you can relax and use free wifi. I would recommend... More

I have stayed in rumah ayam, which is located just behind the viavia café and yoga room. I had a lot of privacy with a little terrace, own kitchen and one room with a big bed, desk, cupboard to store my belongings and a nice bathroom. I liked the natural light on the ceiling and the feeling of having an... More

The ViaVia Guesthouse is situated near the Jl. Prawirotaman in Yogya, which is a very nice street with many restos and bars. The Guesthouse is very clean, offers a nice garden and the staff is very friendly. they also offer interesting tours and show responsibility to the nature by supporting Trees4Trees. We realy would like to recommend this guesthouse!

I stayed here for 5 days in Sulawesi room. The rooms are clean and simple with a lovely outdoor and private ensuite. Breakfast is included, I paid 225,000 per night from memory including breakfast. It's near plenty of good restaurants and infrastructure but down a quiet laneway. The staff are friendly and fun. The only challenge for some may be... More
