Very good location, close to shops, and rail station. Very friendly and clean rooms. The restaurant right next door was great. They have tour services from hotel, and we used them to visit Borobudur, Prambanan and Mt. Meripi - excellent day trip. Highly recommended. More

We booked for a two-night stay but eventually extended it to four. The hotel is quite popular - we had to book in at another hotel around the corner for our first night since we were too slow! 1001 Malam is set around a small courtyard with trees and a fish pond. This gives the rooms a pleasant outlook and... More

Fantastic place - the staff were very friendly, check-in was swift, and the service was great throughout. The rooms were clean, exceptional, and the ambience was great. We hired a driver from the hotel to bring us to Borobudur and Prambanan, and the driver was a young female in her 20s, who really showed us the sights of Jogjakarta, and... More

We stayed 4 nights in this nice hotel in December. Nice, clean room, yammy big pancakes and fresh fruit juice for breakfast, free coffee/tea all day through. Friendly staff, good location. More

I booked three nights here only to be told that I had to move to another hotel for our third night. The thing is I booked through Agoda and had already paid for the rooms in full. I was furious but since they guaranteed I'd be in a similar quality hotel I agreed to move my third night. Four of... More

Stayed here during my short December trip to Jogjakarta, my observations as follows. 1 Three of us booked for a family suite but it was not available so were given two separate single rooms. The advertisement said tv in the rooms but are not available. 2 the towels are dirty and smelly. 3 the breakfast is hopeless and they would... More

Was here for 1 night only but must say, this is a true gem! Tucked-in an alley behind the main street, had to admit we did not know what to expect. Thankfully we did not regret! Room is spacious for 2 people, very clean with lots of character. Couldn't fault the bathroom as well. What we loved is the garden... More

Wrote the same feedback on Agoda > Both my friend and myself are pleasantly surprised! Although the lighting in the room is considered a little bit dim, it is a nicely decorated (nice wall painting!) room in a wonderful location > less than 10 mins walk to Malioboro Shopping Street / a conv shop, a javanese massage palour at the... The location of the hotel is perfect; just 150 meters from the main Malioboro street. It is on a quiet street close to restaurants and Internet cafes. The staff was very friendly and helped us with transportation back to the airport since taxis are hard to find. They offer tours yet they are 60,000 rupiah more expensive than other tour... More
