As we know, there are a huge number of hotels in Yogyakarta , but i would claim Hotel 1001 Malam is the best one which i spent my few days in. There are obvious reasons why i enjoyed to stay in the definite hotel : firstly, the location of the hotel is useful and suitable to feel the beauty of Yogyakarta.... More

Great place to stay in Yogyakarta. Room had all we needed for a relaxing stay with stylish mural paintings inside. Center courtyard has a nice garden and could be enjoyed from our room's balcony. Very helpful and kind staff. Would definitively stay here again, especially considering the great value!

Near to Malioboro, centre of Yogjakarta. Just a bit hard to find its actual location when first time visit. Free breakfast and wifi service. Helpful and friendly staffs, they even switch on the air-conditioner to cool the room when we still in check-in process. Overall environment is good and clean, does not smell musty although there is a lot of... More

Great value for it's worth. Nice and copy.. even the room had a romantic vibe. The garden and the balcony were nice. But best of all was the service, the staffel was very helpful dring our stay in Yogyakarta. Would recombinant!

Coming from Bali we had booked this hotel for 2 nights based on the description and comments in TripAdvisor. It was then a disappointing experience. The room on the lower level was very dark, the breakfast was the worst we had in Indonesia, the room was not serviced between the nights and the landing airplanes are just passing above. The... More

Stayed here for 3 nights during July 2014. The location of the hotel is great - down a little alley way within an easy walk of the main tourist areas. Some good places to eat nearby and plenty of places around to organise tours and onward travel. The rooms are cool - the murals give the hotel a unique feel.... More

Clean room and cozy people for this small place very close to Malioboro and the rest of ciry centre. Organized tour for main attractions like Borobudur could be organized from hotel staff. Nice internal patio where you can stay drinking breakfast/aperitivo or talk with our guests, free wifi working perfect, prices ok.

when the driver let us out of our cars on the main street where there was heavy traffic, I said "where is the hotel?" Up the alley a bit on the right. I wanted to cry. So off we went, all 7 of us pulling our luggage up the alley. We spotted our hotel a short way up the alley... More

Great location and very friendly stuff, the rooms are quiet dark, with some paintings on the wall, but they are clean and with a quiet modern interior! Beautiful courtyard and terrace for eating breakfast or just relaxing! Breakfast is ok, tried some banana pancakes, which were really good! Some great restaurants on the same street!
