We originally wanted to stay only 1 night, but in the end we stayed 4 nights. The bathroom is very basic, which was a little hassle, but the deluxe double room was quiet comfortable although it was a bit small. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit juice and different pancakes. The staff was quiet helpful too.

We stayed in their deluxe room with water heater and on our first night there, my friend got bed bug bitten plus mosquitoes attacking her throughout the early hours of our stay. The poor night guard has to wake up in the middle of the night to change the bed sheet even sprayed the room with repellent and still she... More

Setia Kawan - probably the best stay in Yogjakarta! Very beautiful artistic place, very clean rooms, nice breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Good location in the city center - close Malioboro Street and sights, 2 mintues walk to the train station. Absolutely to recommend!

We were in love with their breakfast especially the banana pancakes. Location is good, although in our room a bit of noise from the close-by train station and the mosque although both were not too bad. Good place to meet people. Room was a bit small and only cold water but with AC. Overall we would recommend this Losmen.

Very nice accommodation with simple breakfast. Standard room with everything you need. Place is clean, prices are good and location is just perfect = close to Malioboro street (plenty of tasty street food options) and train station. With direct public transport to airport. But I do not recommend booking long tours (Bromo/Ijen) with them. They use some external company with... More

Stayed at Setia Kawan for 2 nights whilst in Yogyakarta. We were drawn to it while having breakfast at thier sister restaurant Bedhot (also on Gang II) and looking through the back of the menu where they detailed rooms and tours on offer. Since we were staying elsewhere that night, I asked if they had a room for the following... More

Everything else about Setia Kawan is lovely. I stayed here for six nights recently; the rooms are absolutely beautiful and clean. There's a really nice common space and terrace where you can drink beer, which they conveniently sell in the lobby. The staff are hit or miss; some are really warm and accommodating, while others are pretty standoffish. The breakfast... More

We were quite lucky to get a room here as shortly after our arrival all rooms were booked. The room was nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable and the a/c works well. There is a shower and a toilet in the room. A washbasin for washing hands and brushing teeth is outside the room and shared with other guests. The... More
