After look around about six hotels in Jl Dagen, my choice fell on this hotel. It's quite nice and clean. (+) Clean. (+) Location; close to Malioboro. (+) Nice garden and swimming pool. (+) They have a big musholla. (-) Quite expensive. (-) We can't find a trashbin inside the room. (-) The fried rice they served as breakfast doesn't... More

Stayed there for 2 nights, Malioboro was near by, nothing special with this hotel. Cleanliness was so-so. I could hear everything that happened outside my room. It was just Ok for short stay. Best thing about this hotel was their friendliness. Price was high for such place.

Massively overpriced. This "hotel" is about the standard of a 450 baht gueshouse in Thailand. I made a list of the problems and the manager did listen and take note, she did give me a 15% reduction in the bill but this didnt really compensate for a bad experience. Amongst other things there is no wifi in the rooms, staff... More

Since many years I regularly visit Yogya - and Hotel Peti Mas. I like the friendly staff and the well looked after garden and the close location to Jl. Malioboro and I always book an A/C room. Not so pleasant are the extreme loud calls for praying from the loudspeakers of the mosque next door. Unfortunately one major complaint I... More

This is a cosy hotel with a great garden, including a caged bird collections. It is a short walk from the bus stop, and the Tugu train station. The staffs are very friendly and polite and the hotel serves afernoon tea and snack as a complimentary service. This is a great break especially when the hotel is used as a... More

Third time to stay here. Gardens beautiful and immaculate with many orchids and bonsai. Adequate breakfasts - you are asked the evening before what you would like. Mosque right next door with rather loud early prayer call, but not an issue as all part of the atmosphere. WiFi signal a bit patchy and slow, but it is free. Usually need... More

I stayed here with my friends/colleagues on a recent leisure trip (what else do you expect in Yogyakarta! :) ). I had seen this place more than a decade back, on one of my earlier trips to the city and left with a generally positive impression. We chose this place primarily because of its price and location. It is bang... More

I stayed 2 nights here. Very good 1st impression. Staff so friendly and helping. The green ambience were my top reason. They have really beautiful garden, well maintained swimming pool, good breakfast...n yet they served tea break too..n its free. Room was ok..very clean bathroom. But the family room was a bit small in size. Wifi connection quite weak.
