I had booked the Manhattan Hotel in Jakarta because of its cheap price and location, through agoda.com. Upon arrival, I presented my booking voucher as well as a valid photo ID (Singapore ID) since my passport was used for a visa renewal. The extremely unfriendly and unprofessional check in clerk said "I only understand passport. I need passport". After 25... More

Stayed here in Nov 2013 for a week. The first impression for this hotel is the front desk staffs are average - no smile. the bell boy are very kind. On our return day, there is a peaceful protest from the opposition party to march in front of the hotel, the bellboy is helpful. Nice location, pretty close to everywhere.... More

The travel agents booked me in this hotel as the Gran Melia was not available. I checked in to this hotel and that did not look as bad. Things started to go south from the moment you enter the room , it had a distinct unclean look to it. The final straw for me was when I was taking a... More

Stayed here only for one night. Arrived at hotel around 3pm. This hotel is located at the busy area of Jakarta. The Check in process was quite ok, but i noticed that the front desk staff was busy with their own thing. The way they talk to each other was very loud and i think that's not what you supposed... The hotel is good and location is also gr8. It is next to a mall. However the hotel could have been maintained better. It has a very good Indian restaurant. Staying here is good option if on business trip or leisure.

This hotel is in a nice central location conveniently situated next to a shopping mall. The common areas and amenities are pretty good. Breakfast had a nice selection. The bedrooms need some serious renovations. The bathroom shower curtains were moldy as was the caulking around the bathtub. The bathtub drain was slightly clogged. You would think the management would pay... More

I stayed here for a night in May, the hotel was a 2 minute walk to the office I had to visit and with the terrible traffic in Jakarta location is important. The hotel must be Indian owned and operated as it has a lot of Indian staff, guests and the general theme is Indian. Apparently the Indian restaurant is... More

The room was pretty okay. Big enough. Standard design, average for bathroom. Not very comfortable bathroom. Swimming Pool is not very good. Small, not well designed, not clean. Steam and sauna okay The front office assistant tried to cheat by asking double mini bar charge to my husband and to me. They didn't give me any receipt while check out.... More

Highly discriminating feeling for an Indian - they will clean out your mini-bar on check in so you don't have that option. Further they will insist on cash payment for each and every room-service offer. Really pathetic. Also please don't expect the wifi to be any good. But here are the good parts - Fantastic fantastic location bang in the... More
