The view was nice. We stayed in a floating cottage, so we can do fishing from the terrace. It was fun. The drawback : the cottage furnitures was dirty, not enough illumination in the room at night and there was so many marine litter in the morning, something that less convenient to look when you wake up in the morning.

I went here because there was an occasion from dads work. I interested to go because i think this is a unique resort, and yes it really is! The floating cottages remembering me resorts in Maldives, too bad there was no blue ocean. But still, I really enjoyed bicycling around this tiny island, walking on the woods deck, swinging by... Pulau Ayer is one of the two nearest islands from Marina Ancol in Kepulauan Seribu. Travel time of just 20 minutes on a speed boat is great for those of us who are prone to sea sickness. Upon arrival, we are served welcome drinks of fresh mixed juice. The kids immediately ran into the sandy playground with swings and slides.... More

excellent services from the staffs, old cottages but clean and comfort.....the cottage are big with a living room and balcony. I stayed on july 2015 when the winds blow so high and the big waves hit the cottages all night long....so adventurous....it feels like sleep on the big ship during a storm. the bad thing is this island so close... Short trip from Jakarta and pretty quiet, compared to Jakarta. This place is perfect for retreat and people who like to fish, like me. I feel that this place is like a heaven for people like me. Fishing ordinary fish at day and fishing squids at night. On contrary, people who don't like fishing will find this place to be... More

everything is old. the people are nice, but other visitors might not be civilized. room is comfy, pool is fresh, the garden swings are perfect. the island is clean, but the sea is not. food is clean and fresh, but usually only one taste good. overall it's a wonderful place if you have the right companion.

Its good news because its only a 20 minute boat ride from Jakarta - some other islands are an hour to ninety minutes away. On a previous visit to a more distant island we hit slightly choppy weather and four out of six ended up getting sea sick. However, its proximity means you don't quite leave the Jakarta pollution behind,... More

It took approximately 20 minutes from Pier 16. Marina ancol to get here. On my schedule, the boat sail on 9.00am but luckily we were there earlier (about 07.30am) so we could join the 8.00am boat. When we landed there, we found the land is clean and neat. The shores still have some rubbish floating (sadly) but it was clear... More

The hotel is very nice and located in a small beautiful islands called Pulau Ayer. Even though the floating cottage is quite old but its still wonderful to spend a night with family there. Location is very strategic, about 20 minutes by boat from Marina Jakarta. Very suitable for family looking for different atmosphere, but still close to the city.
