If you only go there for diving, it is a very good place to go, just don't spend the night there. Beautiful clean beaches, I hardly saw any trash both on and off shores. They cleaned the sand quite religiously, there were nice areas to lounge/sunbath/hang out/fishing/sailsurfing/boating for non divers. Transport was easy, with private boat pick up from Ancol... Don't expect too much from the hotel. The accommodation, food and facilities were just standard, well I think a bit pricey. With the price charged I think they could provide better. The beach was pretty though.

hotel wise basic facilities & services. hotel provides 2 jetties for divers so they can leave their gears with no worries. mid Oct ocean quite wavy so not good for snorkeling but for open water divers the underwater creatures varieties quite nice.

We booked the trip a couple of days before the trip, so the options were rather limited. We paid close to 3.000.000 IDR for everything and were so disappointed. The cottage was filthy, with leaks all over the bathroom, mold and termite damage. Staff did not care about our complains and the prices could be compared to those in downtown... More

Accommodation is on the basic side but the villa (Penyu 5) we stayed in was clean, had a fully functioning AC, flat LED TV, had queen bed plus a twin bed that has a lower bed that can be pulled out (technically it can fit 4 people) the island only has one resort and we stayed in the highest priced... If you want to escape the turmoil of Jakarta then the 1000 islands are a perfect break. I have been to 3 of the islands now, but the Sepa Resort is an utter dump. The beaches are ok, we found a hypodermic syringe, the food is basic and the same each day, the staff don't care, my cottage had damp... More

One of the best island of thousand islands. Beach is clean but too much sea urchin. Better if visit between july -august. Don't forget to bring water because too expensive too buy at island. Sunblock and sunglasses is must.

I like going to Sepa island because it has the beach just in front its cottages. You do not need to rent a boat for snorkeling as some spots such as near the pier still had some corals. Sometimes you could also find clown fish here while snorkeling. The food was average but the island provided live band during meal... More

I stayed there twice. If you're a diver, then this is probably the best resort for you to stay in Thousand Islands. They have special places for you to set/store your gear. The place was clean, the beach is nice. The dive masters and guides are helpful - although one of them did touch a turtle when diving. They also... More

we stayed two night with the family. resort by itself is great and worth the journey but you have to be ready for a poor service. room are in poor condition and i guess we pay for the fact we have running water and electricity 24 hours... even local food do not even reach the level of a canteen in...
