I stayed at the Menara Peninsula in April '08. The hotel is located near the airport, about 30 minutes taxi ride (subject to traffic condition). In June 2007 I stayed at the Menara Peninsula while in Jakarta. I was greated warmly. Every time I came down from the room or into the hotel I was greated by name, Mr. Ronnie. That was very cool. The hotel is good and reasonable price, I've paid around USD 40 through the travel agent to stay in this hotel. it's located near Mall Taman Anggrek and it's not really far to go to Senayan and National Monument.
