After being recommended to stay at the Jayakarta, i was told it was a older hotel but still beautiful, we decided to stay here in November 2014. However upon arrival, the hotel was not only old, but FILTHY!! dirty linen, dirty taps with built up toothpaste around the handles, black dining chair and table on the balcony, dirty bathtub, the... For the first time visitor its not a bad hotel at all.. staff were smiling from the door person to the bell boy and receptionist. location is a bit far from all the hustle and bustle of the main district but the taci service is reliable. The condition and facilities not too bad too and a bit too old and... More

Let's not beat around the bush here, Bali itself is a shanty town but this hotel had some nice touches. They don't let pesky street sellers enter the premise which is good, but it could be cleaner all though the message/spa packs are great value

In May this year, I travelled to Jakarta with a group of very close friends - we were 12 in total - for our annual reunion. Since we wanted to spend as much time together as possible, we decided to look for an apartment or a hotel suite rather than 6 individual hotel rooms. Eventually, I came across the website... More

During my recent vacation I stayed at this hotel. In the past I have utilized the services of another hotel chain (and always with great results I might add) but decided to try another hotel closer to some attractions we wanted to see. My first thought after arriving was that it wasn't too far from the airport or hard to... More

Had a conference meeting here so stayed a night at the hotel. The location is nice, with many places to eat around and close to historic downtown. Seemed quite old but wasn't a big problem for me since the staff were nice.

The hotel is big and has great location. The room is quite clean but the facilities are quite old. I've stayed in this hotel twice because the business meetings were held there, so I had no choice as a room was already booked for me. On my second stay, a shocking incident happened. I arrived at the hotel and was... More

The Jayakarta is located near a shopping center (not that big but still is), and around the hotel you can find a lot of places to eat. The hotel itself looks pretty old, from the decoration, the feel, everything feels old. It needs a little bit maintenance, in my opinion, but still bearable. Staffs are nice and friendly. Bed is... We stayed at Jayakarta for a few days. And Iwe shouldn't have expected anything good. The exterior and interior of the hotel were standard, and we found the water from the shower head really bad. But we were impressed by the staff that wore custom clothing (Betawi clothing) which was very graceful. The staff and the doormen were also pretty... More
