Security is taken very seriously at this hotel, the best I've seen. So if a safe and secure hotel in Jakarta is important you can't go past Mulia. Lobby spacious and elegant. This hotel is impressive. They must have spent millions on the design and art, especially in the Cafe and Orient 8 restaurant. Made reservations per recommendation from a colleague who had previously stayed here, so I had no clue on its standards whatsoever. The rooms at Mulia were quite good in the beginning but as the years have gone by the hotel rooms have been worn out.
