Stayed there on August 2014 to visit the AFAID at the adjoining convention center. Both the hotel and the Convention center were used as the NAM summit in 1992 under Hilton brand, where most of the head of states stayed there during the summit. The location of this huge hotel is right on the city center with close and easy... More

Sultan is my most selection of a hotel to stay in Jakarta now. It's green garden always soothes my emotion after trips or meetings. Nice Staffs. Great breakfast. It is not easy to find a hotel nowadays in Jakarta that has nice big green garden when checking-in in the lobby. It's Japanese restaurant is a hit too... The location is... More

The hotel was the former Hilton and seemed to be the best place in town some decades ago. It offers good quality for the price but would need an overall renovation which I believe will happen little by little. When I was there, a fire just had damaged the beautiful bar in balinese style which is really a beautiful place... More

While the accommodation was decent (in comparison with other hotels in the area) the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived at the hotel it took two hours for us to get checked in this was further complicated by a breakdown in communication. It also took ages to check out again. The general state of my room... More

old establishment. used to be one of the very good hotel in Jakarta back in the hey day of Hilton. Pick somewhere else if you want real 5 stars services. just avoid this hotel. the only reason to pick this hotel is only the location. but you can find lots of hotels around 1km within this location.
