The hotel is located in the area Jalan Lapangan and it’s a 30 minute drive to Jakarta’s Business Centre. The hotel is spread across 20 acres, which is huge in comparison to other similar hotels in Jakarta. The hotel has got a big swimming pool, tennis courts and jogging treks. Apart this, the hotel also houses a decent disco and... more

I was in Jakarta for a business trip ans stayed in Hotel Borobudur for a night. Overall, the hotel was ok. I think the hotel rate i paid was about USD60-70 / night. Room - clean, well maintained Toilet - clean, though a little worn out Breakfast - Good Service - ok Location - though it's situated in the town,... more

I stayed in for three nights at this charming hotel. The room I stayed in was in the old wing. It was clean and well kept, although room carpets need a wash. The draw of Hotel Borobudur is probably the wide area of landscaping in the grounds. It is huge!! The swimming pool is olympic sized and has a kids... more

Planned to stay in a Standard Room, unfortunately a mistake was made by the travel agent - they booked a date a week ahead. As such the only rooms available were the Executive Rooms for US$40 more per night. The rooms were great, large, clean, and comfy. Good breakfast, great dinner buffet with local, Japanese and Western spread. Staff were... more

The hotel is always famous for its beautiful landscape, the miniature Borobudur temple (unfortunately, looked a bit under maintenance) and its Bakery Shop with locals. The hotel had gone thru some upgrading, but the Standard Room we stayed in, unfortunately, wasn't but it still a good room. Breakfast at Bogor Cafe was alright and suprisingly the Bakery Shop was a... more

The hotel is located in a part of the city that offers nothing to a pedestrian, so in the evening you are either driving somewhere or staying in. Taxi ride from airport was approx. 30 minutes, and ride to the airport in the early morning was only 20 minutes. There are a few restaurants and bars within the hotel. I... more

When entering the lobby and overlooking the garden with the huge pool and the tennis courts, it really looks like a 5 star hotel, regrettably the service and the rooms did not match this category. We've been in the Borobudur 2 times within 2 weeks, once 1 night and a second time 2 nights while in transit. The breakfast service... more

Classy hotel with an incredibly helpful staff and amazingly huge pool. We stayed 2 separate nights while transiting in and out of Jakarta, and were very pleased with both nights. We actually couldn't wait to get there the second night to go swimming. They have a roughly 150ft long pool with gorgeous landscaping surrounding it. The last night we were... more

I arrived early and was told i'd have to wait for 1 hour, no problem for me. The reception took my hp no and said they would contact me when my room was ready. 2 hours later still nothing so I went to reception who said the room had been ready for an hour! Finally in the room and it... more
