We really enjoyed the warm and kind atmosphere and hospitality of the Alila and were really impressed with the high standards of quality and great staff. Dinner in the Shanghai Storm restaurant and the food was delicious, really good! Room service was just as excellent and to recommend. Stayed in Executive Suite (best rooms) for 3 nights: rattling air-con, tired paintwork, mouldy showers, tired furnishings, smudged glass/tv/mirrors. A modern and efficient hotel. The 2 restaurants in the hotel are excellent! After the hotel-blasts in Djakarta they seemed to take security serious. The linen & towels are dirty, a lot of spots & dull, look like they never been washed. Room size is ok, but looks old.
