...and that's about the only good feature of this place. I don't like giving a negative review, but this guest house just isn't very good. The lighting is dim, the private rooms are small and of questionable cleanliness, and the shared bathroom... wow... let's just say you won't want to go in there very often! Overall it just seems dingy... More

The owner took an effort to get rid of the bedbugs: new mattress and and a new layer of varnish on the wood. But I woke up with several bites. I wasn't totally covered but my limbs who weren't in my sleeping bag were attacked. A pity there are bedbugs in this hostel, otherwise OK room: new + soft mattress,... More

We actually stayed here in 2011, but i am reviewing everything i have ever been too. And this... This was horrible. Never ever have we seen such a dirty place. The toilet was brown and full! No flushing option and i think there wasnt flushed for a few days. The bedspreada were so stained we didnt even dare to sleep... More

The place is very cheap! But: the shared bathroom was a nightmare (dirty floor, dirty toilet, I didnt dare to touch anything). Worst: we had bedbugs and couldn´t sleep. Had to wash all my stuff the next day and my legs were terrible bitten. We found a much cleaner and nicer place in the same area, and every cent we... More

As friendly and helpful as the manager is, this place isn't worth it. I could have coped easily with the dirty tiny bathrooms (he only mops the still water, brown toilet bowl seems like it's never been cleaned) and the moldy smell of the mattress and pillow but I can't cope with getting infested with bedbugs. I suppose the reviewer... More

Because everything in the area was full there was no other option than staying here... This place didn't see a dustremover in 30 years... The bedsheets were very DIRTY, when we noticed it to the owner he made us change the room but it wasn't better. I assume he doesn't have clean sheets and would be surprised if he actually... More

Average at best. Generally run down and a bit shabby. Good location. The room was basic but adequate. The toilet/showers were dirty and poor. At 80-90K for a single room, this place seemed a little overpriced compared with one or two other on/around Jalan Jaksa but they had no single rooms left when I arrived. The owner was friendly and... This was the only place that would let us in at 2 am in the morning. The beds are terrible, the toilets aren't great, and it's too hot. On the plus side, the owner was very helpful despite speaking limited english, and it is very cheap.

at 90.000 rp for a double fan room it's cheap (for jakarta anyways) but overall value is low...lots of mosquitoes, hot rooms, generally run-down...there's lots of better value in the area, similarly priced...i stayed one night coz i arrived late and my usual guesthouse was full...just ok for a night emergency!

Stayed in this homestay in March 2012 and found that the room was ok for the low price. Shouldn't expect too much, of course.. However, later that day, we noticed that we got bitten by bed bugs and asked the owner to change the room. Second room was unfortunately not better and we slept in our hammocks with mosquito net...
