This was not my first stay at Take's but it was certainly the worst. The construction next door was loud during the day. One night at midnight a very loud sound woke us up. The night before the sound of a rat running in the walls woke us. On the up side, staff was very concerned about the rat and... More

Stayed here for 2 nights to get settled in for my first night in indonesia when i was backpacking with my friend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome, we realized on our last morning there was an egg station which made eggs the way you liked! the pool was nice as well! Our room was clean, nice... More

After a rough two weeks of traveling around Java, we picked that place mostly because it had a rooftop pool and seemed decent for the price. Everything we read about was pretty much the way we expected it. Pretty good staff, communications a bit messy at time, average food, rooms kinda 'ok', linen that needs to be changed (they've seen... This was my first time to come to Jakarta and we booked this hotel based from our insights from what we read regarding this hotel on reviews was okay. (Don't expect too much what you read and what you see on the photos) As we experienced, the staffs were okay but they were difficult to speak English but they were... More

Decent hotel in the middle of Jakarta with easy access to bus and taxi. Rooms are a little dated and the bed is rock hard, but there is a fridge on the room to cool your drinks. Big plus is the swimming pool which makes up for all of that. Go swimming at night and you have a beautiful view... More

Stay for 2 nights before off to Bandung. Book 2 rooms, 1 hotel-room and 1 2-room apartment with small sitting area with small kitchen. Kitchen with gas stove (quite a hazard in a windowless space), a small fridge, small plates, mugs, pan and pot, but no utensil. At least it is a functional kitchen. Good enough for me. More like... We stayed two nights. The staff were very friendly and the pool was very nice. The room could have definitely used a fresh coat of paint, but not enough of an eye sore to bother me. It was fairly clean. I thought the room was a bit small, but the bathroom was spacious. However, the shower was terrible. It was... More

For a short stay in Jakarta, this hotel is fine. The 2 main pluses for me are the good location close to Monas & Thamrin and the small but lovely rooftop pool overlooking part of Jakarta's skyline. Considering the location, the price is actually reasonable, perhaps even cheap for some. But cheap doesn't mean dirty, just generally lack in luxury.... More

Take's Mansion is very centrally located in Jakarta, close to the large museums and the train station. The pool is fabulous and the views over the city spectacular. The breakfast is good, the restaurant seems empty and too expensive. The personnel is nothing special, but all in all this is a good option for Jakarta.

With its friendly price, you will get a good spacious room (but small window actually). I never tried the bigger room, which has its dinning table and sitting area. But the cleanliness is not so bad. Located near the Thamrin area of Central Jakarta, it is a good choice for business and working travellers. Right in the side of Indonesian... More
