Firstly, if you're visiting Jakarta for the first time, do your research! Hehe. I emailed the hotel and asked the staff roughly how much the taxi fare will cost and they said about 20-25krp. But of course, at the Gambir Train Station, we couldn't find the BlueBird Taxi stand so was cheated by a very expressive taxi driver who insisted that it costs 50krp because 'I pay for everything!" Haha.

Anyway, this hotel is located in Cikini, where you will find many other hotels. There is the sister hotel in Menteng which we were supposed to be staying in but ended up here because of the taxi driver.

Room is nice and most importantly CLEAN. Toilet is compact but clean. There is a convenience store on the same floor as the reception which is great for a late night snack or topping up your supply of mineral water.
