My fiancé and I loved Alam Indah. The property is beautiful, but more than anything, the staff were awesome. They responded to emails quickly, and when our plans changed, they were flexible and worked with us to ensure the best visit possible. They kept our room spotless and made sure the monkeys didn't bother us too much (the monkeys are... More

Alam Indah was a gorgeous oasis and provided the peaceful rest we needed. The atmosphere created by the beautiful gardens, the superb architecture, the pool and especially the staff was so enjoyable and made our travels the perfect holiday in Bali. We recently stayed for 4 nights in Cengkeh and returned for 3 more nights in Pisang with our daughter.... More

We stayed here for two nights in the Lotus Room. It is hard to imagine how this place could be any better. We arranged pick up from the airport through the hotel and that went perfectly. Upon arriving after 29 hours of travel the staff made sure we were settled in our room. We were a little travel weary to... More

Believe it or not it is our 4th return and it feels like family. And it just gets better every time. From the time you turn off to Alam Indah, down the steep ramp, on the cobbled pathway with a forest on the one side and the intermittent recessed oil lamps the anticipation builds up till you are at the... One of the most charming boutique resort in Ubud. I have gone back to stay in Alam Indah many times over the years as it feels like home. The staff are friendly, sincere and helpful. Looking forward to going back and chill in my favourite 'home' in Bali

Stayed here with a group of friends in October 2014. Have previously stayed in Alam Shanti and Alam Jiwa - and this hotel is right up there with those places. The view from our room (Gardenia) over the pool and the Monkey Forest was beautiful. The pool was clean and very pleasant. Our room was huge - a two storey... More

What a wonderful place. The best of Bali! Environment, scale, gentle staff. They even remembered me after 13 years! Off the the noise and clutter of Ubud. Shuttles are generously provided. Food is good. Area is quiet and you get naughty monkeys raiding the offerings. No need ever for high end resorts when you can truly come back to 'home'... More

And that is what you get..........ahhhhhh. The sound of your body as it relaxes with the surrounding beauty and tranquility of this very calming, totally non pretentious hideaway. Don't go if television or loud music is your mojo, it just doesn't happened. Nor does the bar fridge/ mini bar get re-stocked the next morning, because there isn't one, and don't... More

We stayed at Alam Gili last year, and also went to Lake Leke in that same trip, and we LOVED the old Balinese charm of these places. So, immediately after our return we booked Alam Indah for thip trip, nearly one year in advance. We booked Lily room for us (parents) and Hibiscus for our two teener daughters. The rooms... More

We stayed for 5 nights and could have stayed forever. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was excellent, the service was quick and quiet and the setting was perfect. It was a great location only 10 minutes walk around the Monkey Forest into the rush of Ubud. They provided a shuttle service which we used a... More
