I stayed in this guesthouse for over two weeks. Because the guesthouse is situated at the end of a narrow street off the busy Jalan Hanoman, the place is serene and quiet. It is surrounded by other small family guesthouses and Balinese family houses. The rooms are set in a beautiful garden and they all have either a terrace or... More

We stayed here 3 nights. Our room was basic but clean. Had air condition witch didn’t use to much because the temperature was supportable. The owners are very nice and worm. Mister told us about life in Ubud. The garden is small but beautiful. The buildings are built according with Bali traditional style. Breakfast ok. Coffee or tea, fruits and... More

Excellent location, very quiet and peaceful (no roosters and barking dogs in the neighbourhood), lovely garden, very clean rooms, hot shower in openair bathroom, daily room service. Coffee and tea complimentary on the terrace provided. Wifi works properly. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Airport Shuttle cheaper than booked in the streets. Breakfast included. Delicious banana with coconut and chocolate!... More

Very friendly Family who runs this beautiful place. The rooms are either upstairs with balcony or downstairs with veranda. They get cleaned every day, what i didn't expect for that price. I didn't find any email adress online to tell them that i would arrive one day later but they are on facebook (secretgarden guesthouse). The breakfast is delicious, every... More

We stayed here for three nights over Balinese New year (Nyepi) and had the nicest start to our time in Ubud. The family who own Secret Garden are lovely and helpful, and seeing as you can't wander the streets on Nyepi, they put on a special menu so we didn't go hungry. The owner even arranged an airport pickup for... More

Staying at Secret Garden was wonderful. This family-run place is very well kept, peaceful and quiet. Rooms are hidden in small houses located in a beautiful garden. They are equipped with some stylish furniture and which gives you a real feel of Bali. Tasty breakfast is served every day. If you're going toUbud you should definitely stay there!

This place was perfect for us! Little bungalow, little patio, a lot of trees, flowers, etc. Staff was always smiling and open for discussion. We didn't have a normal schedule but the owner was always there to cook us a little breakfast (eggs&fruits). Very calm but so close of everything!! We would recommand this place to anyone !! btw, we... More

Just want you want. Cheap, relaxed, with clean up to date rooms, decent wifi connection. Had a problem with my ATM card and they have trusted me with 4 nights accommodation to be paid. Exactly what you hope for when you need a personal touch. Kind and honest people. Great for a few nights in Ubud, close to town centre,... More

Even though the standard bungalows are basic with fan and bathroom (floors wouldn't dry and the bathroom at least in our bungalow needs some maintenance), the superb staff and owner made our stay very pleasant. Whenever you need anything - blankets, glasses, towels, knife, rent a car, ask a question, you name it - someone from the staff is present... More

Beautiful guest house and very friendly staff made this a memorable stay. We arrived late at night and for a moment were worried since there was no one around but they were expecting us and popped out right away to let us into our room. Breakfast was changed everyday and delivered to your table outside your room when you woke... More
