We have just returned from an awesome holiday around Bali. For a section of our trip we stayed in Bingin. We stayed at The Temple Lodge and had a fantastic stay there. We were welcomed by the friendly Amed and also met later by Cristiana. Breakfast each morning was amazing along with a dinner we had there - delicious! Our... More

Ants, Mosquitos, screaming children, barking dogs, wifi only in common areas, searing heat, overpriced, poor service & empty promises. No thanks! This was our "splurge" accommodation on our honeymoon and it was so disappointing even though it was breathtakingly beautiful. The bugs, as they are everywhere in Bali are invasive. The mosquito nets and coils did little to keep us... More

We heard about the Temple Lodge on Trip Advisor as we were looking for a yoga class and breakfast. We were staying in Nusa Dua and going on to Ubud a few days later but we wish we had found this place earlier! It is a little hard to find with a local driver, so maybe advisable to use their... More

I stayed in May/June this year with my daughter and her boyfriend who had been in Indonesia for a month. They had previously stayed at Temple Lodge a couple of times...and I understand why they were so keen to go back! The 3 of us were in the Spice Suite, which doesn't have a view of the ocean, but was... More

Stayed for the first time last week and immediately decided to book my honeymoon here. For me, The Temple Lodge is perfect. The rooms are rustic, tuscan inspired and unique. The pool is relaxing with the best view I had in Bali, the 'restaurant', is quaint, relaxed and delicious. The management style is personal and relaxed, there is no reception... More

Italian owners, so everything is done with imagination and character. Each room is unique. There is a feeling that you're visiting friends. The idea of a common dinners are great. After the first dinner - you know everybody in the hotel and feel like home. Very easy to get to the beach - it is right under the hotel.) But... More

We stayed in the Temple suite, which is an extraordinarily large space for 2 people. It has its own large private pool, plus 2 outdoor beds perfect for reading etc. Would be great for a honeymoon space would say. There was no ocean view from this suite but it didn't matter as it's really its own self-contained piece of paradise,... More

Excellent ownership; well maintained; authentic; the temple suite was amazing with a ~10 meter lap pool and open air bathroom; lovely service; superb food with a menu that changes daily; amazing views down to the huge surf and across the bay; fairly easy access to some fun little basic restaurants down on the beach with fresh sea food for dinner... Stayed there back in March, at the Gecko suite, I believe it's one of the best rooms. The room was big and the view is just BREATHTAKING, we got to relax all day on the day bed, taking a shower with the view to the ocean was just indescribable!! Very clean and different from the usual boring hotels I stayed... More

We’ve been traveling for nearly 11 months now, including five months in Southeast Asia, and this my be he most perfect place we’ve stayed during the entire trip. There is just nothing bad to say, so let me just list the things we loved the most: The People: Cris and Mario, the owners, were great – always around to help... More
