They tried to charge us for stains on the toilet seat which were actually caused by water dripping from the ceiling ( out of the light fitting !! ) When we used the toilet we had to place a towell over our head and shoulders to remain dry. more

A one night stay because the Shangbala Hotel was not available. It was unusually warm in Lhasa, 24 Celcius but the a/c didn't work.
The worst breakfast we encountered in 24 days travelling through China...no coffee, no eggs, no bacon.
Put a do not disturb notice on the door because we hadn't finished packing, didn't matter, they were cleaning the room when we came back from b/fast at 8.30am and we hadn't checked out!! (made the beds for the next people)
We were about to leave and the manager came down and said that one of our group had to pay for a face washer because it was dirty.
Stay clear, this is a shocker more
