Was on a ten day tour through Tibet and stayed at this hotel three times in and out of Lhasa. Every time we came back it was like a sanctuary compared to the "5 STAR" hotels in the cities outside of Lhasa. The food was fantastic and affordable and the rooms clean and comfortable. It is located a bit outside... More

Visited Lhasa on a China tour and stayed at the Jardin Secret. It is a ways from the main town, but rooms were clean and nice. Remember that Lhasa is at 12,750 feet in elevation. Morning buffet was mostly Eastern style buffet. Some attempts were made to cook eggs for Westerners with varying degrees of success. Milk is Yak milk.... More

This hotel has very comfortable rooms and breakfast is good buffer, but the staffs are sometimes bits slow as they took almost an hr to check our reservation. The hotel itself is located in the western part of the Lhasa town and bit far from the old town where most of the interesting places are associated. You can only take... More

My wife and I stayed here twice in October 2014. A deluxe king room 431 sq. ft. for $80.00 USD per night with breakfast included. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We felt this was one of our best breakfasts during our three week visit to China/Tibet. When we arrived at our room we were greeted with a big bowl of... More

We stayed here as part of a tour and it was a welcome respite from the long days of being on the road to other cities. The location is not in the city center so there's not much around it but is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the city center. The rooms are clean and large and the... More

Rooms were excellent! New, clean, cozy, good sheets, comfortable bed and warm when outside temperature was -10C. Located somewhat far from the Old City (~10 min, 15RMB by cab). Staff was friendly but did not speak much English. Breakfast was Chinese style but had good selection of bread and fruit.

Beautiful, big, clean & comfortable hotel room. It takes 20RMB to gets downtown. The breakfast is buffet style from Chinese to Western food. The staff very friendly & helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you visiting Lhasa.

the hotel had a location that was not convenient and some taxis did not want to go out that far. There was no heat in the lobby, hallways or breakfast room and it was quite cold in November. The hotel room was wonderful and had so many wonderful amenities - hair dryer, slippers, robe, toothbrush, combs, emery boards, skin lotions... More

Definitely not a place to stay if you visiting lhasa in November. The hotel is almost shut down with minimal staff and no english spoken. The room as previous reviewers have stated are very comfortable but that is the only redeeming feature about our stay. The breakfast is a buffet style mainly catering for the Asian market but it was... More

We stayed 2 nites then 3 nites at this hotel in June. Felt like coming home each evening. Very comfortable hotel, not overly fancy, just comfortable. Beds GREAT, as I'm not a fan of rock hard beds. These are heavenly. Didn't use AC, just opened up the windows for the 50+ degree evenings. Bathroom worked FINE, Room was plenty big.... More
