I stayed a week because I was doing research in Lhasa. This was my second trip to Tibet. I thought the hotel was the best Tibet has to offer. My room was comfortable, clean and in a great location. The Yak's location is great! I had read previous reviews regarding rude staff, but I didn't find this to be particularly true. The Yak has a great reputation, but the hotel is changing under new management. The staff at the front desk is about as rude and officious as I have ever encountered!
