I stayed there for 3 nights and feel so amazing. I can taste the real tibetan life and culture because the hotel located in the middle of tibetan residence. It's near market, school, restaurant, street food, etc. Helpfull hotel staff.

I stayed there with a group of 12 people for 3 nights. Hostel has a great atmosphere. Just 5 minutes walk from kora in Bharkor. Good and fast laundry service. Nice rooftop with washing lines, sunny place, nice view on the city. Good breakfast, included in price. Plenty of restaurants in the neigbourhoud. Rooms are clean. Wifi at ground floor.... More

We stayed in Rama Kharpo as part of our tour's recommendations for 4 days and 3 nights in Lhasa, and I enjoyed the comforts it provided while we were there. LOCATION Rama Kharpo is located in the heart of Barkhor Street and what, an incredible 5 minutes walk away from Jokhang Temple? Every-single-night we were there we had the chance... More

Spent 5 nights there and it was part of a package so not sure how much was the room. It was just OK, the room was clean when we arrived but then got only cleaned only once after and only because we requested it. We had some animal in there pulling out crumbs out of the joints in the floorboards... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Overall it is a fairly OK place to short term stay. The rooms are clean, basic with no amenities. The beds were quite hard too. Mine was practically dented through over use (I did stay in another room at one point and the bed was slightly better). Location-wise it is near the centre of... More

Location is perfect, breakfast tasty, hot water is always there. Wifi works, stuff is nice and understand English. Electric blankets will get you warmed as there is of course no heating. There are some construction works around so in the mornings it is a bit loudy

We stayed at this little hotel for our Tibet trip of 5 days. Initially we were shocked by the standards of hygiene here, but after a few days in and around lhasa we can say that this hotel is actually relatively clean! Just be mentally prepared for toilet conditions in Tibet if you can. And so our first impression of... More

This hotel was chosen by our tour agency during our tour of Tibet. Although we were surprised by the fact that there was no heat in the rooms or dining room, we soon adjusted to this. There are actually a few heaters for rooms - they had none left when we were there. Sleeping is comfortable as there a couple... More
